YoloinOhio Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 @SalSports: Sammy Watkins launched both footballs from his 2 TDs high into the stands. He'll be fined by the NFL, and I'm sure he doesn't care.

26CornerBlitz Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 Thanks OP You're welcome. Enjoy and Go Bills! Orton caught defense crossed up on 4th-&-20 One of the bigger plays made on the 15-play 80-yard game-winning scoring drive by the Bills in the final minute of play was their conversion of a 4th-and-20 when Kyle Orton found Scott Chandler for a 24-yard pass play to keep the drive alive. Orton noticed something pre-snap and got the play off quicker than usual. @BuffaloBillsPR Leodis McKelvin's interceptions today came on consecutive plays. He is the first Bill to pull off that feat since Kirby Jackson in 1989.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 Orton a calming presence on final drive Bills QB Kyle Orton did not have the best day when it came to protecting the football or in getting rid of it when the pocket broke down (sacked six times), but he did come through when the game was on the line. Almost as important as his play making on that final drive was his demeanor in the huddle when they got the ball back with 3:07 to play at their own 20-yard line. By all accounts in the huddle on the last drive, Orton was upbeat, confident and most importantly relaxed. Kyle Orton: "Everybody Hung In There" (6:05) Quarterback Kyle Orton discusses the game-winning drive and keeping the offense positive throughout the contest. @JohnKryk Orton passes for 105 yards on game-winning drive (sacks -10, penalties -15) as #Bills top #Vikings in 1 ugly game: http://blogs.canoe.c...rwise/ …

Bengals, Browns, and Chargers all lost. Doug Marrone on Offensive Line, RB situation (5:23) The Bills head coach talks about what the locker room was like at halftime, his thoughts on the offensive line, and being short at running back.
voodoo poonani Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Hearing Doug Marrone pissed off after winning pleases me. They have a lot to fix.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 20, 2014 Author Posted October 20, 2014 Chris Hogan: "I Knew I Had to Make a Play" (2:16) The Bills wide receiver talks about the game winning drive, the poise of quarterback Kyle Orton, and how the offense was able to turn things around in the end. Leodis McKelvin: "I looked like a receiver" (1:22) Bills cornerback Leodis McKelvin discusses his 2 interceptions against the Vikings and why he had full belief that the team could win it on the final drive. Scott Chandler: "This is a different Bills team" (1:51) Bills tight end Scott Chandler talks about the game winning drive vs. the Vikings, the belief in the offense, and why he thinks this year's Bills team is special. Sammy Watkins: "It's the Best Feeling Ever" (3:51) The Bills wide receiver talks about his game winning touchdown catch, Kyle Orton's leadership, and if there was more pressure after losing Spiller and Jackson to injury. @BuffaloBillsPR #Bills Marcell Dareus notched his fifth career multi-sack performance today on his way to surpassing 25 career sacks. (Now has 25.5)
Bills Fan of St Augustine Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Orton a calming presence on final drive Kyle Orton: "Everybody Hung In There" (6:05) @JohnKryk Orton passes for 105 yards on game-winning drive (sacks -10, penalties -15) as #Bills top #Vikings in 1 ugly game: http://blogs.canoe.c...rwise/ … Kyle was a professional today. He can't be blamed for the six sacks. He had little to no time, its not like he sat back there and held the ball for 10 secs and got sacked. Our OL is pathetic and the fact he wasn't killed is a testament to his toughness.

26CornerBlitz Posted October 20, 2014 Author Posted October 20, 2014 McKelvin’s 2 INTs come on back-to-back plays It was rare enough for Leodis McKelvin that he notched a pair of interceptions in one game. The fact that his two picks came on back-to-back defensive plays made it a first in a long time in Bills history as well. Dixon ready to go in wake of Fred, CJ injuries Fred Jackson left the game in the first quarter with a bad looking groin injury. C.J. Spiller was carted off with what’s been reported as a broken collar bone. There’s a very good chance that the duties of the run game will fall squarely on the shoulders of Boobie Dixon and Bryce Brown. Dixon knows he was largely brought in to be the go-to guy if there were a rash of injuries at running back. After this week’s casualty list he assures that he’s ready for an increase in his workload. Marrone update on RB situation Bills head coach Doug Marrone didn’t reveal a whole lot about the injuries sustained by C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson, but he sounds like he’s already planning to be without both of them come next Sunday against the Jets.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 20, 2014 Author Posted October 20, 2014 If the season ended today ... The Dallas Cowboys' six-game win streak places them in the driver's seat in the NFC. The Seahawks, meanwhile, are fading as an NFC power. See where every team stands in the playoff race.
Deranged Rhino Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 If the season ended today ... Gotta get on a roll here these next few weeks to build up some wins.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 20, 2014 Author Posted October 20, 2014 (edited) Observations: Bills 17 - Vikings 16 By Joe Buscaglia Against all odds, somehow, some way the Buffalo Bills came away from their matchup against the Minnesota Vikings as the victors. It wasn’t pretty. In fact, at times — well, most the time — it was damn near ugly. That didn’t thwart the Bills at any point, which ultimately led to a last second 17-16 win over the Vikings. As a result, Buffalo is now 3-0 against the NFC North. How did they collect their fourth win of the season? Some observations from the game: Kickoff specialist? - The Buffalo Bills are the only team in the NFL that carries a ‘kickoff specialist’ on their team. In order for that player to be worthy of not only a roster spot, but to be active on game day when players along the roster are injured, he must be a valuable asset and pin the opposition at least at the 20-yard line a relatively high percentage of the time. Over the past two weeks, when the Bills have benched two valuable offensive commodities that could have helped them, Jordan Gay has not been worth the spot on the game day roster. On seven total attempts (the squib at the end of the Vikings game notwithstanding), Gay has only pinned the opposition at or inside the 20-yard line three times. A 43-percent conversion rate is not getting it done, meanwhile Mike Williams and Bryce Brown sat idly by over the last two weeks when the Bills really could have used them. That decision falls at the feet of Marrone. Edited October 20, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz
YoloinOhio Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 @ByTimGraham: Today is only the second time in Bills history they've won while committing at least four turnovers and giving up at least six sacks.
