KGun12TD Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 The WAAAAAAAM-bulance is on its way for you. I'm not happy with a loss, I'm not happy with a win. WAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Nitro Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Sounds like the bye week can not come soon enough for Marrone. Look for the Bills to use that time to shuffle the line up and rework the play book. With injuries to Fred and CJ look for roster moves.
Mark80 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 A win is a freaking win, I'll take it happily.
bobobonators Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Â Â Yes, losing ugly. A game they should have dominated against a rookie QB with a depleted O line, and they struggled to keep pace even with healthy RBs. Be a homer if you wish, I prefer to be a realist. Â A realist to what? You expect a 3-42 victory? 4-3. Thats reality in my world. Maybe in your "real" world we're 3-4.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Here's a secret about football: You only have to outscore the team you are playing.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Listened to Marrone's postgame presser. He knows this team has a long way to go. They all over themselves all game long and they did just enough to win against a crappy football team in Miinnesota.. Lousy football most of the day, but a win is a win!
bananathumb Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Buffalo is a tad better than the Vikings, so go celebrate.
Bangarang Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 (edited) Wins like these are vintage Dick Jauron. We struggled the entire game against a bad team and this game should not have been as close as it was. We'll come crashing back down to reality next week when Rex Ryan's defense completely destroys this fisher price offense. Watkins and Jackson carried this team today on offense. BillsVet Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 I mean I'm so conflicted. I love every Bills W. But that was a joke win. So was the Lions. And we're going to trick ourselves into thinking Orton is good, Hackett and Marrone are good coaches, and we're fine. This is a very talented team with bad coaches and a bad QB. Yet, we are 4-3. Â Again, we need a last second tounchdown to beat a George Edwards D that completely shut us down. Wow. Â CB97 I'm with you (can't believe I just said that). This is supposed to be a playoff team and they're playing as if they're a 7-9 or 8-8 club. Given the December schedule (at NE, vs. GB, at DEN, to the left coast at OAK) I'm not sure that 5-3 is good enough. Not to mention some are assuming that they'll beat the Jets, Chiefs, et al. before then. They have a lot of issues to fix to be thinking playoffs.
SACTOBILLSFAN Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Man I was pissed at Chris Hogan for his garbage fumble but that catch on the last drive was siiiiiiick. Watkins is absolutely the truth and is open a lot. A win is a win, nothing to be embarrassed about, we're not good enough yet to complain about style points.
Bocephuz Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 Wow. Some people just NEED to be miserable. Â If your team wins and you're embarrassed, you need to stop following your team. No kidding. scraping out a win against an inferior team is nothing to be excited about. Scraping out a win agsinst Detroit on the road.. Fantastic.. Vikings with rookie QB in his first roadstart .. Not great. Just because you win doesn't mean you played well . That game was a fing mess offensively. We're in serious trouble if we don't somehow miraculously fix the o line
Kelly the Dog Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 I'm not embarrassed for winning. But I'm embarrassed for Marrone and Hackett because they stink at coaching offensive football at the NFL level.
Deranged Rhino Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 I'm not embarrassed for winning. But I'm embarrassed for Marrone and Hackett because they stink at coaching offensive football at the NFL level. Â Yup.
MikeSpeed Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 I have to completely disagree with the OP. We out played them every where. If it wasn't for the turnovers we blow them out. When you make self-inflicted mistakes like those and still win it's a good win.
dbmu1977 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Sorry they didn't cover the spread, but a win is a win. 4 and 3 at this point in the year is great. The bills have a winning record at the end of the year, then none of this matters . Be happy.
Georgia Bill Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 You won't catch me complaining about a win . The only thing I'm sorry about is that we lost both our starting running backs.
