26CornerBlitz Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 (edited) Just heard on WGR. @JayGlazer BREAKING: The JETS have just agreed with Seattle to a trade sending WR Percy Harvin to NY for conditional pick. FOX SPORTS has learned. Again, I'm reporting The JETS have just agreed with Seattle to a trade sending WR Percy Harvin to NY for conditional pick 'Hawks trade Harvin to Jets for conditional pick Why it happened Edited October 18, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz
FireChan Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 ...Why? Same reason Tate wasn't retained. Wilson's ex-wife.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 17, 2014 Author Posted October 17, 2014 ...Why? Another weapon for Geno since they don't have many. Seattle is likely shedding salary to get ready for Russell Wilson's mega-contract.
Sojourner Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Given how much they've incorporated Harvin into their game plans this season it makes me wonder why if they accept anything less than a second rounder...
26CornerBlitz Posted October 17, 2014 Author Posted October 17, 2014 Seahawks trade Harvin to Jets for conditional mid-round pick
Bills Fan in MD Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 There has to be something else going on here. Otherwise this makes absolutely no sense.
YoloinOhio Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 First doug Baldwin yelling at coaches and now they ship off Harvin... What's going on in that locker room?
26CornerBlitz Posted October 17, 2014 Author Posted October 17, 2014 There has to be something else going on here. Otherwise this makes absolutely no sense. Jets' GM Idzik trying to save their season and his a$$.
Kirby Jackson Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 I'm on record that I don't like this!! They went from no playmakers to a really dangerous weapon.
FireChan Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 First doug Baldwin yelling at coaches and now they ship off Harvin... What's going on in that locker room? Am I alone in expecting a "Carrol has lost the locker room" story just like SF?
26CornerBlitz Posted October 17, 2014 Author Posted October 17, 2014 I'm on record that I don't like this!! They went from no playmakers to a really dangerous weapon. They have a long time to incorporate him into their gameplan vs the Bills on 10/26.
FireChan Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 They have a long time to incorporate him into their gameplan vs the Bills on 10/26. With the Bills track record, Harvin is likely to tear his ACL against our D.
NoSaint Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 This makes no sense. harvin is a big wild card behaviorally. lets not forget he chokeslammed a coach in college, and was banned from high school athletics. and allegedly had to be separated from a near fight with coaches in minnesota. it may just not make sense YET.
YoloinOhio Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 I'm on record that I don't like this!! They went from no playmakers to a really dangerous weapon. seattle is nuts. Not a fit?! Fit him in! @AdamSchefter: Seahawks traded WR Percy Harvin to Jets, as @JayGlazer reported. Seattle felt Harvin was not a fit there.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 17, 2014 Author Posted October 17, 2014 Heard they want to make room for Paul Richardson: http://www.seahawks.com/team/roster/Paul-Richardson/a5243bed-c874-4545-ae67-bfd8fa85c6fa
YoloinOhio Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 They have a long time to incorporate him into their gameplan vs the Bills on 10/26. he's no Brian Tyms!
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 With the Bills track record, Harvin is likely to tear his ACL against our D. While catching the winning TD pass...
