stevestojan Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 My wife and I love sushi and our favorite place here in VB is one of my favorite sushi places I've ever been too. They do offer real Wasabi. It's about $4 for the same size portion you get of the fake stuff (the place itself is pretty pricey, around $100 for dinner for 2 with a drink)l but worth every penny.) The difference in taste is huge. I actually like the fake stuff better likely because it's what I'm used to, but the real certainly tastes a bit more fresh. The fake stuff has more of a kick to it. By the way, if you're ever in the VB area, the name of the place is Mizuno. One of the only (if not only) true Japenese owned/operated Sushi bars in the area. Fantastic food.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Speaking of sushi, I would recommend watching the documentary "Jiro Dreams of Sushi."
