Gugny Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 I think suiting him up and only playing him if necessary is the best approach. I see these next two games - both of them - as must wins if this team has any chance at the playoffs, which could very well necessitate winning the division. Going into the break at 5-3, with a 2-1 division record and momentum, would be huge. And I think it's necessary. That said, I love the idea of securing Spikes for the long haul, but if we don't win these two, the long haul isn't gonna mean schit.
Solomon Grundy Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 His cousin, Takeo, is "leading the charge" this week. No way he sits. He may pull a JJ Watt this week!
boyst Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 I really hope Spikes does not end up on the my list of players I wish we would have resigned. He'd join JBell, Dwan Edwards, Poz, David Nelson, Geoff Hangartner and other players long since moved on...
Agent 91 Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 All who said some variation of " the bills aren't good enough to sit their players". Bravo. It's funny because teams are most assuredly saying the same about us. If we weren't ALL bills homers we would see that. I love my team. But as the saying goes. This is a proverbial face only a mother could love.
