BuffaloBillsForever Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Didnt we hire some big wig from Xerox to run the analytics department? I havent heard anything regarding him or the department since he was hired CBF He certainly isn't doing anything for the football operations considering the lack of playtime Corey Graham has received

BringBackFergy Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Marrone and Hackett: "Hey, analytics guy...for our first play from scrimmage against Houston, we want to run Spiller up the middle....what do you think?" Analytics Guy: *computer keys tapping in the background* Sure why not. Marrone and Hackett: "Hey analytics guy, for our first play from scrimmage against the Lions, we want to run Spiller up the middle, what do you think?" Analytics Guy: *computer keys tapping in the background* Ugh....sure, go ahead. Marrone and Hackett: "Hey analytics guy, for our first play from scrimm........." Analytics Guy: *computer keys tapping in background* Yeah, yeah, I know...Spiller up the middle. I'm eating a pizza roll....go ahead.

Sisyphean Bills Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 He crunched the numbers and found he hadn't made a huge impact. So they cut him.

Beerball Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 I heard that every time he was asked a question his answer was 3.5.

Over 29 years of fanhood Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Marrone and Hackett: "Hey, analytics guy...for our first play from scrimmage against Houston, we want to run Spiller up the middle....what do you think?" Maybe his analysis shows if that he doesn't intervene Hackett will get fired and the bills can get an offensive coordinator that's good which will lead to more points and winning games.
Best Player Available Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Kim feels he would be better off working with the Sabres for the time being.

BarleyNY Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 I saw a review of team drafts, player by player, according to analytics and posted it here shortly after the draft. It was not a good draft for the Bills at all FROM AN ANALYTICS STANDPOINT. Considering that, I'm guessing he is gone or hasn't really had much of a voice in drafting.
Captain Hindsight Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 May have gone into the benching of EJ and less carries for Spiller or even less playing time for M. Williams
ICanSleepWhenI'mDead Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 (edited) Apparently, it's now two guys in the analytics "department:" http://www.rochester.edu/pr/Review/V77N1/0601_lyons.html Wonder if Marrone's really on board with using them? Edited October 15, 2014 by ICanSleepWhenI'mDead
Dirtbag Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Apparently, it's now two guys in the analytics "department:" i love that the khaki-panted analytics guy had a photoshoot in the end zone as if he were a first round draft pick.
