Vikings are going to have a field day against our pass defense. Hopefully we can cause enough pressure to disrupt it... otherwise, I'm not confident our DBs can cover anyone, anymore. :|

We just played Tom freaking Brady. Bridgewater is an after thought. He looked awesome vs. the Falcons D which might be the worst in the league. He looked like he didn't belong in the league vs. the Lions D. Our D may not be as complete as the Lions D, but we're not that far off IMO.

Having the Vikings score more than 13 points against us would be a failure IMO.

Vikings WR Cordarrelle Patterson Still Not 100% Healthy

Lately, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson has been a non-factor in the team’s offense. Despite the Vikings forcing the young pass catcher the ball last week, Patterson only managed to get 15 yards and catch 2 of the 8 passes thrown his way.

A lot of this struggle can be attributed to an injured hip that has nagged him for the past couple weeks. However, in an article on ESPN’s website, Cordarrelle Patterson says that he’s trying to get back to being healthy:

Schwartz's approach key to Bills run ‘D’

Many on the Bills defensive front have worked under various coordinators, but none have been able to conjure their efforts quite like Jim Schwartz.

@BuffaloBillsPR

Thus far in 2014, the #Bills run D is on a historic pace. Here's a few franchise marks that are within reach:

Bills X-Factor: TE Scott Chandler

The Buffalo Bills made a change at quarterback heading into Week 5 of the 2014 season. They benched last year’s first-round draft pick, EJ Manuel, in favor of veteran Kyle Orton. On the surface, the change may not seem notable given that Orton’s .500 record in two games matches the .500 record Manuel produced in four games.

@caplannfl

Look for #Bills RB C.J. Spiller to be more involved this week. Team fell behind early last week, F. Jackson better in pass pro.

It's not that Fred is better in pass protection, it's that he's capable. The only thing CJ does worse than seeing the holes is protecting the passer. He's atrocious at pass blocking and has shown next to no desire to improve in that area over his tenure in Buffalo.

Wideouts Working on Getting Open More

The Minnesota Vikings offensive line is under siege these days, both from opposing defensive fronts and hyper-critical fans who expect them to do a better job of protecting rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

Just as big of a concern within the team, however, is the lack of production from the Vikings' playmakers on the outside. Cordarrelle Patterson, Greg Jennings and the rest of the Vikings' receiver corps have struggled to gain separation from defensive backs and give Bridgewater opportunities to make big plays down the field.

Marrone on getting Watkins ball more: We can go in and talk about touches, matchups and trying to get people the ball

Marrone on passing game: When you're running the ball well you are able to do play action fakes. We have to do better protecting the QB

Marrone on Protection: When we do it right you can see, and things become very positive and very effective

Marrone on O-Line: We think they are the 5 best guys out there. But they do need to improve

Marrone on play making: If you keep taking those 3-4yds play eventually the big play will come

Marrone on Orton: He was able to make the throws. He was comfortable. The leadership we got from him is great

Marrone on Orton: We expect him to keep getting better each week

Marrone on Vikings: They have playmakers. They have a lot of speed on the field. We can't let them get open in the backfield
