mannc Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Is he at least as accomplished as Marrone at the college level? Yes, but so are at least 50 other college coaches who will never get a shot at the NFL.
MDH Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Marrone seems to make fine choices for this DC, it's his allegiance to Hackett that seems to be the issue. My guess is Hackett is gotten rid of and a new OC is brought in. If the problems persist next year then Marrone is gone (this fact will likely limit who Marrone is able to hire as a new OC...)
Prickly Pete Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 (edited) Yes, but so are at least 50 other college coaches who will never get a shot at the NFL. Yeah... Edited October 14, 2014 by HoF Watkins
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Kelly called harbaugh a baby and harbaugh punched kelly in the face http://deadspin.com/...kell-1279830622 Oh I remember that now
Like A Mofo Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 No first round pick and no long-term solution at QB is going to make it difficult to get a good coach. 2016 new coach, new gm, new qb. Hope I am wrong but it doesn't look good. Hit he nail right on the head here. Ride out Marrone with a new OC in 2015 and let's see where it leads.
H2o Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I got Pettine for my vote, but my vote neither counts nor is anything more than a personal opinion. Jason Garrett will undoubtedly win if his team, well Jerruh Jones team actually, wins the NFC East.
nonprophet Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Someone who will hire the best available OC and the best available QB coach for his project QB instead of one crony to do both jobs.
Augie Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 If Marone is still here next year, I pray that they force him to dump Hackett. Add a top 10 OC and a guard or two and you've got a team that would be hard to keep out of the playoffs. Very hard.
