BuffaloBillsForever
Only good thing to come out of the Pats game is we knocked two important players for them out for the season. Which, hopefully will make them weaker when they face other teams. Unfortunately that didn't work for the Bills.
Dorkington
Unfortunately that didn't work for the Bills. Nope. But hopefully other teams can beat the Patriots, because we clearly can't, heh.
26CornerBlitz
Spiller gets 12 snaps: Bills' playtime percentages vs. Pats By Joe Buscaglia Some notable developments from the Patriots game: - Running back C.J. Spiller got a season-low 12 snaps on offense. He has been largely inefficient in 2014 with only a 3.4 yards per carry average, and the Bills seem to be getting frustrated by his penchant to bounce runs outside. Fred Jackson (52) received over four times the amount of snaps of what Spiller was given. - The Bills made Mike Williams inactive and Chris Hogan received the biggest bump of snaps in a single game that he’s gotten all year. Hogan was on the field for 30 of the 69 snaps, getting 16 more than teammate Marquise Goodwin. - The snap count for Manny Lawson is dwindling as the year has gone by. Lawson was given only 11 of 62 snaps against Detroit, and this week against the Patriots only receiver 12 of 71 total defensive snaps. With the way Mario Williams has played, the Bills haven’t had a reason to keep the backup defensive end’s role the same. 26CornerBlitz
Patriots were just bigger and badder than the Bills - The Boston Globe The Bills aren’t pushovers anymore. They’ve got a scrappy defense, speed on offense, and a veteran quarterback in Kyle Orton who generally can take good care of the football. The Bills fought hard Sunday and deserve lots of credit. The Patriots were just bigger and badder. The Patriots’ 37-22 win came down to size as much it did schemes and turnovers. Rob Gronkowski is 6 feet 6 inches, 265 pounds and can move down the field. Linebackers Brandon Spikes, Keith Rivers, and Preston Brown are too slow to cover him, so the Bills tried to defend Gronk with their defensive backs. The only problem is that they’re all tiny. Safety Duke Williams, who drew the primary Gronk assignment, is 5-11. Cornerback Leodis McKelvin, who covered Gronk for part of the game, is 5-11. The other cornerback, Stephon Gilmore, is 6-1 but only 190 pounds.
26CornerBlitz
@BuffRumblings The #Bills are using more linebackers this year than last, and it's hurting their pass defense: http://sbnation.com/e/6737896
26CornerBlitz
@YardsPerPass I picked this play because it shows how easy it was from Gronk. This is a simple slant/flat play call #Bills @YardsPerPass So easy, I would have thrown him the ball every time #Bills https://pbs.twimg.co...5HOCEAAeRtu.mp4 Hmm? OPI on Woods and Watkins, but not here? Edited October 14, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz

I had promised myself not to expect anything from the Bills, and broke my promise.
