YoloinOhio
Browns look a hell of a lot more excited then the Bills on the sidelines. maybe because they were beating their rival instead of losing to their rival?

Cleveland Rocks?
That was a statement win for the Browns yesterday. Having said that, the Steelers are crap. Ha! I was thinking was while watching the game yesterday (I didn't go to the game this week) that an investigation should be launched into how the Steelers have 3 wins. Cleveland Rocks?
I wonder what they do with johnny football. I wonder if someone would cough up a second or even a first for him? Therein lies the problem. They should have locked up Hoyer in the offseason for cheap. But they change FOs and coaching staffs every year so no one knows what the heck they are doing. Now, he is a FA. So do you pay him what he could get on the open market (would be a lot for a QB) and keep Manziel as the backup (wasted #1 pick) or let him leave and see if Manziel is any good, which we have no idea? You could trade Manziel, but you will never get his value of what you invested in return because no one has seen him play a real game. In a sense it was a free pick we got from Indy, but in reality you then completely wasted the picks, plural, you spent on T-Rich.
aristocrat
The browns also get Josh Brown back for the home stretch. Hoyer could light it up and get them in the playoffs and be in for a nice pay day. The manziel pick was questionable especially if they could have another role player with that first rounder. It's a good problem to have--two viable long term QBs and two first round picks this year. The Bills have none of either.

C-Man
The Browns stepped up. They were prepared. Beating the oft favored but declining division juggernaut is what the Bills should have done yesterday.
zow2
I'd take Pettine over Marrone any day. Well, someone at OBD should have projected these Browns results with Pettine. At this stage he's looking like a better head coach with a better staff than our guy. Plus he's using a bunch of UDFA's.

26CornerBlitz
Yes. I'd sign Hoyer at the end of the year if he doesn't reup with Cleveland. Hes a solid QB, IMO. His price is going up as the season progresses. Hoyer's been pretty darn good.

26CornerBlitz
Whats your point? We have Pegula now. This shouldn't be an issue assuming the Browns don't resign him. Agreed. Let the season play out but he looks good now. My point is his price is going up as the season progresses.
BillsFan-4-Ever
lets see... in recent history the Browns had QB's "ready" to take the NFL by storm. current to the return of the team to Cleveland in 1999 Brian Hoyer, Brandon Weeden, Colt McCoy, Brady Quinn, Derek Anderson, Tim Couch, BRING on Johnny What are you going to do if they end up with a better record than the Bills in 2014? They were supposed to be a train wreck this year correct? see above... since the return the Browns have had a "better" QB than Buffalo. the last post season they saw was 2002 Edited October 13, 2014 by BillsFan-4-Ever
