JohninMinn. Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Nothing that Woods and Goodwin can't step up and replace. You can't replace size
Deranged Rhino Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Aaron Williams out -- that is probably why the Mike Williams move was made. Aaron Williams being out is more alarming to me than MW, even though he was on the injury list. Gronk is happy right about now.

Couldn't they just deactivate AW and activate that rookie safety?
Deranged Rhino Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Explain. Couldn't they just deactivate AW and activate that rookie safety? Graham is going to play safety today, and because he plays all teams too -- they needed some help on teams. This from Chris Brown.
Big C Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 (edited) So Mike was deactivated because AW was deactivated? For teams? Kenny Ladler getting to suit up today. Woo! Shame about AW. He keeps getting little injuries. No Bryce. Still wondering about this move. Edited October 12, 2014 by Big C
Alaska Darin Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Four receivers active. Could be an issue. Hogan/Goodwin/Woods will need to step up.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 12, 2014 Author Posted October 12, 2014 Graham is going to play safety today, and because he plays all teams too -- they needed some help on teams. This from Chris Brown. @ChrisBrownBills Spec. teams likely reason why Williams inactive http://wp.me/plmrg-aEF
Big C Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Graham is going to play safety today, and because he plays all teams too -- they needed some help on teams. This from Chris Brown. But then why is Randell deactivated?
Deranged Rhino Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 So Mike was deactivated because AW was deactivated? No. Kenny Ladler getting to suit up today. Woo! Shame about AW. He keeps getting little injuries. No Bryce. Still wondering about this move. Yes. For special team purposes. Graham is going to start and play every snap at safety, and due to the fact he also plays teams, they needed more depth at both safety and teams. All that said, I'm not sure I agree with the move even knowing that. But this is the logic.
Deranged Rhino Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 But then why is Randell deactivated? He's still banged up, isn't he?
FireChan Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Graham is going to play safety today, and because he plays all teams too -- they needed some help on teams. This from Chris Brown. So who did they activate? 2 spots gone (MW and AW), 1 filled (Ladler), who is the final player?
26CornerBlitz Posted October 12, 2014 Author Posted October 12, 2014 @mikerodak Mike Williams’ snap counts this season: 30, 26, 42, 43, 26, inactive this week.
Big C Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 So who did they activate? 2 spots gone (MW and AW), 1 filled (Ladler), who is the final player? Possibly because KW and Bradham are both back, it's one of them.
Deranged Rhino Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 So who did they activate? 2 spots gone (MW and AW), 1 filled (Ladler), who is the final player? That I don't know, but am looking...
FireChan Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Possibly because KW and Bradham are both back, it's one of them. Ah, makes sense.
NoSaint Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Marrrone loves himself some Chris hogan This right here is one of those spots I think we made a decision protecting a coach that should be able to fill a hole on special teams for a few snaps instead of getting our best out there on offense.
billsfan89 Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I'm going with the theory of activating brown. All 53 should be able to suit up. The 46 to dress rule should be changed. They should expand the rosters to 58 and have 53 suit up (5 inactive spots for injured players). NFL Rosters are way too small. It puts a lot of pressure on teammates to play hurt knowing they don't have a lot of depth.
