ricojes Posted October 15, 2014 Author Share Posted October 15, 2014 Nathan MacKinnon wasn't as hyped, but was considered to be a future stud in the league in the 2013 draft. Beyond that it would be John Tavares, Steven Stamkos and Patrick Kane. All these players were really hyped and stuck out amongst the others in the draft as apposed to last season when there wasn't 1 or 2 players that were head and shoulders above the rest. The NHL draft just doesn't draw that much attention, so you really have to want to hear about the draftee's in order to know about them.
