OCinBuffalo Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) Wait a second... Pegula's fortune was made by irredeemably polluting fresh water in order to extract greenhouse gas as cheaply as possible?!! Where is the evil in that?! Go Bills! I'm setting the O/U at 4 months on continuing "the fight"(read: nonsense), in public, with regard to Pegula and fracking. 4 months, not 6, because this is about being a not just a good person, but a "better than you are person" to these people. 6 months endangers that premise. 4 months, and not 4 minutes, largely because Bulldog will continue to bring it up on WGR. It's like the ultimate LAMP. No matter how many times we say "where is your proof?", or somebody who actually has the job of testing F'ing water related specifically to this activity tells us, like above....some posters are still going to try show their "commitment to better values than yours" with this. (Once again, this isn't about the issue at hand, this is about proving that you are better because you "believe" in something. Odd that that same people tend to be against religion, and dogmatic followers of...what they call...science.) This is otherwise known as being: psychologically committed to an idea. It's like the North Koreans. You can't get through to them with reason, because reason left town years ago. Oh Crap! The Ouija Board said the B will L this WE. It said the reason was IVF, After consulting my workbook, I took that to mean Irredeemed Victims of Fracking. I didn't know that was a thing, but I hope that Brady doesn't tap into its energy, for all ours' sakes. I'm a little scared, but Orton's mustache is comforting. See? LAMP in full effect. 26CornerBlitz Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Leo Roth: 6 questions for Terry Pegula And then it's time for him and Kim to roll up their sleeves, starting with a news conference that will set the tone for a new era in Bills football. Five questions inquiring minds will want to know answers to:
26CornerBlitz Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 @buffalobills The #Bills will formally introduce Terry and Kim Pegula at 4 p.m. Friday. Press conference will be streamed live on http://buffalobills.com .
YoloinOhio Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 @LaurenBrill4: FYI the transaction for the Pegulas to buy the Bills is completely done.
Augie Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Can't wait to get the Pegula era started! No better way than a win over the Pats signaling a transition between the recent past and our bright future!
26CornerBlitz Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 https://www.tmz.com/...bad-investment/ Donald Trump tells TMZ Sports ... he's not upset that he wasn't able to strike a deal to buy the Buffalo Bills -- because it would have been a bad investment anyway. Trump was one of the big names in the hunt for the NFL team -- which ultimately sold to business mogul Terry Pegula for $1.4 BILLION. But when we asked Trump about the situation Wednesday night, he didn't seem bothered by it at all ... telling us he didn't think it was a great financial move anyway. As for whether Trump makes a run at another NFL team in the future -- guess we'll have to wait and see.
Augie Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I bet Trump would love to come in second in a future bidding war and get some attention. Publicity whore. He'd only buy one if it sold for less than what they sell for.
Who is Yuri? Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 LAMP in full effect. So I don't believe in God, am posting for attention, and am like the North Koreans, eh? DB? See you in six months.
Ted William's frozen head Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 dawn of a new day.... A year ago, I seriously doubted that the Bills would remain in Buffalo as I'm sure so many more of us did. A Trump ownership? Bon Jovi? The horrors! So many things had to fall exactly in place, and somehow, that happened! Somebody pinch me. I'm dreaming!
Canadian Bills Fan Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 So the wire transfer has already gone through?? CBF

May Day 10 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Besides this Tweet, is there any links out there to support this? CBF I would think the 4PM presser is link enough to prove its a done deal
BuffaloBill Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 https://www.tmz.com/...bad-investment/ Excellent reaction to The Donald's statement which implies that his 1B bid was a wise investment.
Bangarang Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 https://www.tmz.com/...bad-investment/ Trump calls something he bid $1billion on a bad investment. In other words, Trump just wants to remind everyone that he's still around and still wealthy.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Donald Trump tweets through Terry Pegula press conference, considers himself lucky he didn't buy Buffalo Bills The Buffalo Bills introduced Terry Pegula as the new owner of the team on Friday afternoon after his $1.4 billion purchase of the team became final. Throughout the press conference, Donald Trump, who was also involved in the bidding war for the Bills, was tweeting, and his tweets were predictably not the most encouraging of tweets. Thank goodness this classless slime ball will never own the Bills!
