jimmy10 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I heard a Lions player high-fived him while he was on the Bills players' shoulders. Is that true? Definitely. It was plain as day in one of the clips I saw somewhere.
No Cease Fires Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 (edited) What's funny in all this is they didn't "carry him off the field." If you actually watch the original footage and not the clip ESPN airs all day, the players put him down before they even get very far. Clearly it was a joke and nothing to be taken so seriously. Interesting that the guys that actually played for him in Detroit didn't say anything about it. Edited October 7, 2014 by No Cease Fires
Tyrod's Tailor Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I just rewatched the game and am utterly blown away by Tate's behavior throughout. What a joke. I can't stand this guy.
IDBillzFan Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 But he can dance everytime he makes a 10 yard catch? He can dance if he wants to. He can leave his friends behind.
Mr. WEO Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 (edited) I really don't give weight to any proclamation that isn't preceded by "hear ye, hear ye" or read from a scroll.. Edited October 8, 2014 by Mr. WEO
Webster Guy Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 seattle couldnt wait to dump that chump. what an annoying teammate and player. I don't ever want to see any NFL player get hurt except JJ Watt, Suh and now tate. another Me First Guy the NFL doesn't need
Gugny Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I think, if the tables were turned, many of us (fans - not players) would be pissed about it, too. That said, we're not fans of the team it happened to. We win. So !@#$ him. Go Bills!!!!
ExiledInIllinois Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 (edited) I don't think they should have carried Schwartz off the field. Why? Yeah... It was a douche move. Finally for once we can rub it in. More power to 'em. Sometimes I would rather "laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints." Edited October 8, 2014 by ExiledInIllinois
JTinNC Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Was thinking Golden was a D-bag while I was watching game not surprised that he really is.
seq004 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 He can dance if he wants to. He can leave his friends behind. Because your friends don't dance and if they don't dance well there no friends of mine.
John Cocktosten Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Taint needs to stop. He does a little dance after every catch and has been fined for celebration. Taint's mad because Orton put it in, stones and all.
jimmy10 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Because your friends don't dance and if they don't dance well there no friends of mine. Everybody look at your pants.
BfloBillsFan Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Can't understand why Bills fans find this to be a "douche move". Schwartz is an emotional coach. I lived in Detroit (unfortunately) for seven years and saw how he would get his team fired up. The players loved playing for him and I was envious that the Bills didn't have a coach like this. Picking him up as a DC was one of the best of the offseason moves by the Bills front office. IMO the D is a closer group than it his been in a while and the results (so far) are better than most could have expected. I don't believe that coaches and players are being truthful when they say that playing against their ex team doesn't mean much. It's like saying like you don't want prove to the girl that just dumped you that she made a mistake. Schwartz's D was awesome, he was fired up and the players celebrated with him. Nothing wrong here, savor the moment no matter how trivial. On a side note...can't believe this story made the front page at ESPN.com, how many former players of Schwartz's agree with Tate?...none that I heard about (but I didn't look that hard).

DrDawkinstein Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I look forward to seeing how many players it's going to take to carry Pepper Johnson off the field this Sunday
BUNCH OF MULARKEY Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I look forward to seeing how many players it's going to take to carry Pepper Johnson off the field this Sunday Lmao they can carry Pepper to the La Nova booth lol. If another team carried a coach off here I would chuck my $9.00 beer all over them. However it's sweet to be the villan for once. Screw em. Go bills.
3rdand12 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 (edited) Obviously, he's still very immature. i saw that ; ) i saw someone comment online that it shows leadership because the players rallied around him. He made what could have been a flat NFC road game into a meaningful game and it may have inspired them on the field. Whatever it takes! Getting warmer. Lmao they can carry Pepper to the La Nova booth lol. If another team carried a coach off here I would chuck my $9.00 beer all over them. However it's sweet to be the villan for once. Screw em.
