Watkins trade revisited

  1. 1. With what we know now would you make the same trade for Watkins?

    • Yes, he's worth it
    • No, I would rather the pick

Yeah but they need a franchise QB. What good is a WR without a QB? :)

He was hurt for three games at least. Four games with EJ. One game as a decoy. Even this game, they just didn't target him that much.

He's ridiculous.

There are still 57 people that would rather Eric Ebron and somebody. I can't fathom that. It's okay to be stubborn and its okay to be wrong. I've been wrong TONS of times on this team but not on Watkins.

Oh me, too. Everyone has. Everyone at the highest levels of the NFL has. Personnel decisions are like batting averages in baseball. You hit .333 you're a stud, but it still means you are out two out of three times.

What Watkins means which isn't talked about a lot, is that even if EJ sucks and Orton sucks (which is hardly the case so far) having him on the team makes the Bills a much more desirable spot for a FA QB or one acquired in a trade that would need to be re-signed. He's a stud. Already. It's crystal clear.

Yep. Sammy is absolutely screwing us out of a potential top 10 draft pick we don't have because we have him.

@buffalobills

Doug Marrone on @sammywatkins long non-TD: "I don't expect a guy like him to do that ever again. We don't have time for stuff like that"

Something tells me Sammy's dad has already ripped him a new one about the play. I guarantee he will never do that again.

GO BILLS!!!

more we win the further back we pick in 2nd round too. middle of pack would mean our first pick wouldnt come until around 50th overall. This team had better have an effective Free Agent strategy, it will be first time in a long while we cant count on replenishing from the draft

I assume you mean ten from the bottom?

No

No Sammy is screwing the Browns out of a top 10 pick.

Can one of the 57 people that voted no please explain why we would be better of with Ebron and.... You cannot use anyone other than that because the Bills are on record as saying that he was the pick at 9. I just don't get it....

Something tells me Sammy is enough of a high-character guy to have ripped himself a new one over that play.

And then immediately did it again on his TD.

At least the second time he had the presence of mind to look behind him first.

Interesting. I loved Moncrief before the draft. Nice to see him doing well. I wasn't at all sold on Benjamin. Looks like I was way wrong about that so far. What a draft class (potentially) for WRs.

And yet, if he doesn't get too much blowback for the hotdogging missed TD, Sammy can make a good argument for offensive rookie of the week AGAIN. How does 52.3 yards per reception hit you?

Are you saying you don't want us to win more? Who really cares about draft position at this point?
