djp14150 Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Which one was better form brooks or beebe??? Brooks appears to be fine in terms of not a broken neck...but this is something that could end his season if not his career.
The Dean Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I won't bother to question that report. Very good news!
yall Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Never want to see anyone hurt like that. Here's hoping he's OK.
MarkAF43 Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Glad to hear he's doing ok. That was disturbing to watch. I was bothered fox needed to replay it 25 times. Like it's not something we need more than 1-2 replays of.
boyst Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 http://youtube.com/watch?v=3-TI7nsxcOw For those who did not see it I'm so glad he is OK!
RyanC883 Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the update. @ByTimGraham Fred Jackson told me all he has heard about Ron Brooks' scary injury is encouraging but will have to stay overnight in the hospital. better safe than sorry with neck injuries. keep him overnight, prob some swelling that needs to go down so they can get a good luck at it. total speculation on my part. sending prayers for the guy. Glad to hear he's doing ok. That was disturbing to watch. I was bothered fox needed to replay it 25 times. Like it's not something we need more than 1-2 replays of. I think they did that because it wasn't clear how it happened. AT least not to me. Was a totally normal block, and he just popped up and then landed on his head before his body could flip completely over. that play could probably happen 100+ more times like that and he doesn't land on his head. Freaky accident. hope he's okay. Oh Lord, I pray that is true! Great news! Amen +1 Edited October 5, 2014 by RyanC883

Dorkington Posted October 6, 2014 Author Posted October 6, 2014 Updated, good catch, even if you're being sarcastic, it's actually an excellent every day example of language that needs to be changed to be more inclusive of all sexualities, genders, and race.
Chandler#81 Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Relieved! I've been a big fan of his since his days backing up Gilmore @ LSU. He's taken a lot of flack around here but he's about to crack the starting lineup. Hope he fully recovers quickly. He's important to our success!
buffaloboyinATL Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I cheered very loudly when he raised his hand on the way off of the field. Hope he is back on the field very soon.
GG Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Watching that play, I wonder how ever did Beebe get up after his helmet bounce catch?
bowery4 Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Good for him will keep him in my prayers and thoughts.
bisonbrigade Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Watching that play, I wonder how ever did Beebe get up after his helmet bounce catch? Bebee landed in the soft muddy field in Cleveland, not Concrete covered with carpet in Detroit.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Teammates hoping for best for Brooks In his weekly appearance on Bills flagship station WGR Sportsradio 550 Fred Jackson said he and his fellow teammates are praying for Brooks, though the initial signs look promising. “In talking to our training staff they did do some C-T scans and they were all negative,” said Jackson. “It all looks good right now, but you just never know. As a team we’re praying for him and hoping for the best. I think we’ll find out more when we have our team meetings and they’ll give us an update. Hopefully he continues to progress well and he’s out of there later today.”
Dorkington Posted October 6, 2014 Author Posted October 6, 2014 It's early, but that's some more good news!
