Best Player Available
We scored 1 offensive td and had check downs all day. I know we have to rip EJ as much as possible but that was an empty 300 yards. We stole a W, which is awesome. MVPs are Watkins, Dareus, Schwartz, & their kicker. you lost all cred on QB's including Orton. Suck it up. EJ does not win this game or he would have started
Wayne Cubed
Balls Schwartz and the defense, surrendered 7 points on the road. Marrone for getting into the refs face and for going for the win with his kicker, kept the team together after a rough start. Dareus was a monster in the middle Sammy for those tough catches Orton, rusty and all he moved the team against a tough defense kickers and punters, Carpenter is money Goats Spiller, we should activate Brown and see what happens Hackett. some head scratching plays Pears at Guard is unwatchable. Refs suck every Sunday. To be fair to Spiller AND Fjax, there was no running game whatsoever. And that's becuse Detroits front 4 are monsters. They aren't gonna run over every single team. Sometimes they meet a really good run defense. Edited October 5, 2014 by Wayne Cubed
Bleed Bills Blue
No love for Fred Jackson?? He made plays when no one else was making them. He rallied the troops at 14-0 down. FredEx delivers. And, even though hurt, he came back in the game at crunch time.

EJ does not win this game or he would have started Sorry, we can do better than that. They missed 3 fgs, he threw a pick 6, our D was amazing, and on his GW driving, our rookie had maybe the best catch of the year. Orton was what he is. But we need more. We lucked out big today. We deserve as Bills fan but that was not a great offensive performance.

thewildrabbit
Detroit’s Kicker! Is there any doubt that he will be unemployed after this week. The Bills defense kept them in the game. Carpenter won it. Sammy - Freddy- Orton all played a big part. Its just great to see them win this one.
Zac
Fred Jackson did some of the best pass protection by a RB that I've ever seen.

Kyle Orton specializes in empty 300 yard games. But having said that, I am still damn glad he's here. Just a little better on the O line and we may actually score some points -- look at how Goodwin, Gragg, even Hogan all got involved in the offense today, not to mention giving Sammy an opportunity to make some plays. Acantha
I always think yards is overrated. 300 is just a number. Would you rather have 300 yards and one td or 200 yards and 3 tds? If rather have a million yards and a billion touchdowns. What's the point? Orton isn't going to the pro bowl of this game, no doubt. But he came in for his first start on a fairly new team against a stout defense and threw the ball well enough to post 300 yards and help earn the win. Taking away from one stat and pointing at what could have been in another stat is pointless and as already said, sour grapes.

He got the ball to receivers on time and where they could catch it. Oh, and he didn't get any of his WRs killed. He hasn't started in forever, came in, and led the team to a tough road win.
