benderbender Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Gosh, I'm not sure. I mean Easley is so hardy. I'm sure once he's healed up, he'll never be injured again. Too bad Naaman.
eball Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Really good news. He was amazing in "The Jerk." Coaching staff to be sporting Opti-Grabs on the sideline this week?
26CornerBlitz Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Roosevelt released from practice squad as the Bills pick up CB Rod Sweeting.
YoloinOhio Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Saw this thread pop up and thought he was already back on the PS after being cut 15 minutes ago.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 @buffalobills #Bills have signed CB Rod Sweeting to the Practice Squad and released WR Naaman Roosevelt http://bufbills.co/WF8OYV @BuffaloBillsPR Sweeting saw action in nine games last season for the Saints. The Georgia Tech product is tied for the school record for games played (54).
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I wonder what the record is for most times picked up and dropped from a single team in a career. He's gotta be up there.

Utah John Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 It's gotta be tough to be a really good athlete, almost but not quite good enough for the NFL, always on the bubble, but not willing to give up the dream. Roosevelt must be thinking about calling it quits. Best of luck to him. I think he's always given his full effort, but there are just too many guys a little better. At least he's got his memories of being on the team, getting into a real NFL game, and will have stories to tell his grandchildren.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I feel like Naaman has been on the PS for about a decade now. There should be a PS Wall of Fame.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I wonder how much money he nets every time he gets signed to the PS CBF
Jamie Nails Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I wonder what the record is for most times picked up and dropped from a single team in a career. He's gotta be up there. Joe Klopfenstein quietly sheds a tear

Naaman has actually had a little success when given a chance. They have no weapons. The hard thing for Roosevelt now is that he has to be in his mid 20's (at least). He's no longer the young guy that teams may invest in. He is a solid, ready to contribute player but there isn't a ton of upside. On 2nd thought his best bet may be a contending type team that suffers some injuries. He doesn't make a lot of sense for a rebuilding team. He can step in and make some plays from the slot though. Maybe someone like Seattle or SF. Edited November 5, 2014 by Kirby Jackson

Pretty cool he had some NFL play time with Buffalo Bills. Nice thoughts Kirby. Not a really promising reference by you, but nice to see you care about the kid . Go Naaman !
