Sproles is 5' nothing- will never make it in this league.

Thorpe has not had a good week, not sure if he will be an "instant" number three.

I do love Nugent, and wouldn't mind spending the 2nd rd pick on him if we trade Travis for a second.

Rather then butt heads on it, lets just agree to disagree and wait and see.

I'm not butting heads at all..

I just want to make a bet with you.

You say 3rd round, i say earlier...

How is that butting heads?

Ask around, I pay off my bets (god damn Bills Oline only lettign up 39 sacks!!)

Agreed, My favorite FSU WR ISNT Thorpe its Stovall! Thorpe is a track star who looks like Moss as far as build, he is inconsistent but has the deep speed. Just would be another threat and would stretch the field. Reed cant catch OR get open much anymore. When I say instant #3, Im saying a guy who is an upgrade to Reed. Thropes speed does it for me.

Sproles can very well make it. Ask Warrick Dunn, Barry Sanders, Marshall Faulk.

Gambing aint my game man, you want a healthy "eating crow" bet, great Im all ears. Ill be here and admit I was wrong IF Nugent is drafted before is drafted before the 3rd.

Will you be here admitting you were wrong IF He drops into the 3rd?

Too bad for you the Bills didn't start McGahee later. In the 6 games he didn't start, the Bills gave up 23 sacks. As an aside, if you average out the 16 sacks they gave up in 10 games with McGahee starting, that comes out to 26 for the season. Interesting how much difference a player makes (evne though I'm a Travis fan, I have to admit this part), and how Bledsoe can have his number of sacks cut in-half.

I do think that Nugent will last to our pick in the 2nd round, but there is no way that he'll make it to our pick in the third. I feel 100% confident in that fact. If the Bills really want to upgrade the team and give themselves 2-3 more victories next season than they would get with Lindell's half-assed kicking, then Nugent is the way to go.

Dunn, Sanders, and Faulk are all the same size as Emmitt Smith and Thurman Thomas. 5'10" around 210 to 215 lbs. Sproles measured 5'5 about 175-180 lbs. Sorry, but that is not the same size. He will make a roster, anp lay fow a year or two, but he will end up being a NOBODY....

there are going to be an awful lot of disappointed people when nugent does last to the bills pick in the 2nd and they pass over him for another prospect......

222654[/snapback]

agreed, I love the guy but can we really pass over a dominant (in college at least) LG like CJ Brooks, Elton Brown, or maybe David Baas for a kicker?

I love the thought of:

Trading Henry for a 2nd (higher than ours)

Drafting CJ Brooks, Elton Brown, or David Baas if available with 2nd #1

Drafting Mike Nugent with our 2nd #2

Getting a LT and TE thorugh FA.

It'll be a huge screw-up for the Bills and any other team that passes on him if that does happen. I really feel that Nugent is going to be the next Jason Elam, even better than him actually. Lets just hope the Fins or Jets dont get him because he'll make us pay for the next decade if we dont select him. If he's gone by our pick, then I'll just adopt a "so it goes" type of opinion...but if the Bills have a crack at him and pass on it, it'll show that TD once again feels that we can get by with the craptacular play of Lindell and further prove that he, for some reason, doesnt want to improve our kicking game.

Gibson has been a favorite of mine for a while. He is impressing. Baas hasnt let a single guy by him yet. I also am impressed with Alex Smith (Stanford TE) I think he looks alot like Winslow. McFadden is certainly a hitter at CB.

I wanna see SPEED at WR.
