Jim in Anchorage Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 (edited) The one that bothers me the most is meh. I guess it means "so what" or "who cares" How would you put it in to a conversation ? Is it spoken as me-h? Edited October 2, 2014 by Jim in Anchorage
Gugny Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I think, in spoken word, it's more of an "eh." But if you write "eh," people will think you're one of the McKenzie brothers.
PastaJoe Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I don't like "Idk". Took me awhile to figure out it was an "i" and not a "L". Can't the computer gods make a proper capital "i"?
The Poojer Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 i try not to use any of them, i prefer to type out 'hahahaha' as opposed to 'lol', i guess the only one i would use with regularity is 'cya', but that may be more commonplace than simply an internet code
BringBackFergy Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 When I say something mean to another poster on TBD I usually end it with "IHBDGMAWPOISPMMM" (I Hope Beerball Doesn't Give Me a Warning Point Or I'll Stop Paying My Monthly Membership)

DC Tom Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 This makes me realize two things: 1) There is a LOT of meaningless **** that bothers Jim in Anchorage. 2) I don't care.

Chef Jim Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 It drives me crazy when professional adults send texts like this. R U going 2 the party 2nite? If so CU there. Dude. I'm not your !@#$ing 12 year old daughter. I absolutey refuse to do that.

ExiledInIllinois Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Maybe we are "evolving" like Latin and Greek with scriptio continua. FWIWLOL
shrader Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Speaking about annoying internet habits, how about people feeling the need to post "IN" when a duplicate thread is started.
shrader Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 How about only referring to players by their number or initials (here or any other sports board)? There's too many duplicate initials out there and rosters turn over too quickly now. The number thing is probably more of a hockey thing though, typically when listing out line combinations.
Jim in Anchorage Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 Speaking about annoying internet habits, how about people feeling the need to post "IN" when a duplicate thread is started. That would be Bills fan-4-ever. He even boasts about how often he doe's it.
Rubes Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Out I guess Chef Jim is out. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Chef Jim Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I guess Chef Jim is out. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Well you may have missed my post above yours. I went back in. Is that allowable?
