26CornerBlitz Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 AT TNF: Packers vs. Vikings, 8:25 ET (CBS) NFL.com Game Preview Bridgewater questionable for 'TNF' I'm looking forward to seeing a Bridgewater vs Rodgers duel, but it might not happen with Bridgewater questionable as a GTD and heavy rain in the forecast tonight.
Best Player Available Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 it will be nice to enjoy NFL level pro football, unlike the past two Bills games.

K D Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 anyone else going to be depressed if Bridgewater is good? he looked really good in the last game
FireChan Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 anyone else going to be depressed if Bridgewater is good? he looked really good in the last game No. Most QB's look good in their first couple games. EJ looked good in his first couple. So did Kirk Cousins. The difference is how they play when there's finally tape on them.
YoloinOhio Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 anyone else going to be depressed if Bridgewater is good? he looked really good in the last game yes. I didn't think they would take a QB in the 1st 2 years in a row without the presence of an Andrew luck type in the draft so it won't be from being pissed that we passed on him. More from the fact that we never seem to draft the guy who turns into the franchise QB. It's maddening. Bridgewater looks a polished vet already. No. Most QB's look good in their first couple games. EJ looked good in his first couple. So did Kirk Cousins. The difference is how they play when there's finally tape on them. i agree with this... But still...

The difference is how they play when there's finally tape on them. Bridgewater is smart, accurate, polished, intuitive, can read defenses and has experience running a "pro-style" offense from his Louisville career. The only question on him is his frame that might lead to durability issues. He's a legit talent.

He's a legit talent. but is he playing...i like having a few shekels on the Thursday games..if he plays i may play the money line at +$325 . The money line worked real well fro me playing the Raiders last week...and the Jags agaisnt the Skins in week 2

26CornerBlitz Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 @Vikings Former NFL QB Kurt Warner says Bridgewater was the most "pro-ready quarterback" coming out of the draft. @RapSheet #Vikings plan to take QB decision to 90 mins before kickoff. Teddy Bridgewater still wants to play, team wants to make sure it limits danger @SiriusXMNFL Per @AdamSchefter...signs point to Teddy Bridgewater not playing tonight vs. Green Bay. #MINvsGB
Max997 Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 (edited) I somehow have no fantasy action in this game but was still looking forward to watching it to see Bridegwater play which unfortunately doesnt look like is going to happen Edited October 2, 2014 by Max997
plenzmd1 Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Ponder time! Unfortunately, not Samantha  Damn, i was going BIG(well $25) on the money line...guess that is off the table now.Or,i can rationalize i am drinking at home instead of in the bar, so saving $25 , so fug it. Time to get rich and bet the $25!!!!!
YoloinOhio Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 @AdamSchefter: Vikings promoted QB Chandler Harnish from practice squad to active roster, a sign Teddy Bridgewater will not start tonight. I really need some points from Lacy this week... @AroundTheNFL: 90% chance of rain in Green Bay according to meteorologist @AndrewSiciliano.
Captain Hindsight Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Oh good Aaron Rodgers vs the 3rd string QB for the Vikes without a running game to speak of. This should be a really fun game to watch
26CornerBlitz Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 Definitely not the same appeal in a Ponder vs. Rodgers matchup. @RapSheet The #Vikings will start QB Christian Ponder tonight vs #Packers, source says. Teddy Bridgewater will be inactive Christian Ponder to start for Vikings against Packers on 'TNF'
YoloinOhio Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Cool. I love watching not so good 1st rd FSU QBs.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 @mortreport Short-term, sitting Bridgewater is right thing tonight. Long-term, Vikings would've liked Teddy to experience playing road game at Lambeau
