Cal Bill's Fan Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 EJ learning while a journeyman starts. He needs to work on mechanics , basic read sequence, watch lot's of film and play with the backups. Should have been how he spent his first couple of years anyways (a la Brett Favre).
Green Lightning Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Just watched a masterful performance by a number 1 pick who's team gave up on him and traded him away. EJ should keep working like Alex Smith did.

It may well be an interesting test of whether a player needs to play to get better or whether a player can learn as much/more/or different useful things from watching and analyzing.
