negativo Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Total fail as a head coach, but a brilliant OC. Maybe our next HC will consider him for the job. Our next HC should consider him.
PromoTheRobot Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Who was that fat coach? Mangino? I bet Jayhawk fans are sorry they fired him. Two duds in a row. They won't be able to afford any decent coach.
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Why do you need a proven OC for a young qb when you can get a stud like Hackett Jr?

C.Biscuit97 Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Turner Gill was in great shape. KU didn't give him much of a chance. He was probably too in shape for them.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 1) There's already a thread on this. 2) The man's name is Weis.
bbb Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 That thread is regarding whether the Bills should hire him. darren rovell @darrenrovell · Sep 28 CORRECTION: Weis will get paid a total of $64.5M by Notre Dame & Kansas for a record of 41-49.

reddogblitz Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 The only success he's ever had has been when working for Bill Bellyache. Just like Mangini, Romeo, Josh MacDaniels ... It's hard to be a good coach without the "advantages" that the Patsies staff has (like SpyGate, other teams headsets going out, etc.).
bbb Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 hit the lottery No doubt! The only success he's ever had has been when working for Bill Bellyache. Just like Mangini, Romeo, Josh MacDaniels ... It's hard to be a good coach without the "advantages" that the Patsies staff has (like SpyGate, other teams headsets going out, etc.). That first year at Notre Dame, he looked like a genius. That USC game, even though they lost, was one of the most exciting games ever. They were back!
negativo Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 Surprised Weis is just 58. Had him pegged for mid-60's. Will make a good OC in the pros somewhere. His college and HC days are over. He and Romeo proved that not all top coordinators make good head coaches.
