The Buffalo Bills are 8th, yes EIGHTH, in red zone scoring attempts/game with 4 BUT are tied for LAST in the NFL with a TD red zone scoring % of 33.3%. For perspective their 2013 red zone td % was 47.73%.

Yes, the Red Zone is still a concern, how could it not be? The entire field is a concern when it comes to this offense.

Add in the pick 6 and it was another rough week down there.

Very rough! The troubling thing is I don't see it dramatically improving even with improved QB play from Manuel. The offensive line is also a major issue now when it comes to the red zone. It's been consistently bad week in and week out even when Manuel has been described as "playing well".

3rd and 2 deep in their territory - 3 points locked with Carpenter and in control of the game thus far….and with Dixon and a large FB dressed and in the game

we throw to the RB

We get the ball inside the 20 quite a bit but don't finish efficiently. There's a lot to work on but this is the stat our season will hinge on I think. Can we finish drives?

The Bills are a top 10 team at getting the ball inside the 20 and are last at converting. I agree that it is currently the biggest problem with our coaches and the offensive personnel and our season will largely hinge on this stat.

Oh, then I guess this offense is right on the cusp!

I don't care what the stats are, it's only been 4 games, the real concern's are way broader than "Red Zone efficiency".

It's been the most consistent deficiency with the offense over the last 19 games even in games where the offense is executing on all fronts.

Plenty of play calling and execution issues but between the 20s we seem to have the sheer talent to create offense in space. As the space shrinks....

I doubt that the Bills will be a "Top 10 team at getting the ball inside the 20" at the end of the season.

I haven't looked it up, but I'm gonna guess that the Bills have found themselves in or near the red zone a bit more often than other teams because of "short fields" supplied by turnovers or good defending against a team deep in their own zone.

I think EJM's problems extend from goalpost to goalpost.

The Bills offense ranks 24th in total yards. 28th in passing yards.

The Bills also ranked NUMBER 1 in the National Football League through the first 3 weeks in average starting field position (line of scrimmage) per drive.

Certainly issues all over the field. I'll say it yet again. Not arguing we are a great offense.

But if we could figure out a few plays a game down there it would go a long way.
