machine gun kelly Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I don't know if Bridgewater is the guy. The real question is all FO the dumb decisions by Buddy in the last four years, as well as passing on Alex Smith, as you almost never see a real QB up for free agency.
PearlHowardman Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 No. Idea. All I know is that Pegula is going to need at least 3 years to have a competitive Buffalo Bills football team. Good luck to him!
bbb Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Trade down and pick Benjamin. Like I said before, during and after - anything but give up next year's #1
Wiz Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 While I didn't agree with the pick because I knew EJ wouldn't be able to throw the ball down the field with any accuracy, I still believe that Watkins will pay off in the long run after we get a real qb to get him the ball.
Section242 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Sammy dropped a couple of balls. Still hard to make a pick when the QB is pathetic.
thewildrabbit Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Trade down and pick Benjamin. Like I said before, during and after - anything but give up next year's #1 Kelvin Benjamin & Brandin Cooks are both tearing it up. It wasn't just the 2015 first round pick, it was also a 2015 4th rounder. I like Whaley but this move could cost him his GM job
Dragonborn10 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 It is never the wrong idea to trade down
djp14150 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I'm fine with getting Watkins. He should be that elite receiver. These type of receivers you just can't get in the mid teens or later in a 1st unless they have problem child risk factors.
FireChan Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 Trade down and pick Benjamin. Like I said before, during and after - anything but give up next year's #1 Benjamin has been producing pretty consistently, I think he had one bad game. That's rare for a rookie. I have a feeling Jameis misses him.
Not at the table Karlos Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I don't know if Bridgewater is the guy. The real question is all FO the dumb decisions by Buddy in the last four years, as well as passing on Alex Smith, as you almost never see a real QB up for free agency. alex smith was traded. I believe it was a 2nd round pick
voodoo poonani Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I wanted to trade down and get LB Mosley, I still would have been ok with it.
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 No. Idea. All I know is that Pegula is going to need at least 3 years to have a competitive Buffalo Bills football team. Good luck to him! I actually think we are much closer than that. Just an average to slightly below average QB would have this team at 3-1 right now, maybe even 4-0. And on top of that, the division as a whole looks to be at it's weakest point in a long time.
boyst Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 (edited) I'd have gone for Kelvin Benjamin if I could move back to 19-24. If not, I would like to say I would have gone with Cooks. Round 2 I would not have drafted Kouijanblow. I would likely have got Carlos Hyde and no Dixon. Or more likely Ealy or a QB - Grapalo. I liked round 3 getting an ILB - Brown. I may have gone DT if anyone was great but getting more youth and bodies on the DL is good, depends if I got Ealy. Round 4 - I liked Cockrell watching him at Duke and wanted DB. Always draft a DB. 5 - I'd have gone with McCarron if I did not get Garropolo and assuming I got Ealy. 7 - because I haven't addressed OL - I'd go OL. Both picks. And likely end up with Henderson because I don't give a crap if I have a big mean OL. I want big mean OL. At 7, why not!? I'd have drafted: Benjamin somewhere at pick 14-22 Ealy/Hyde Brown - I guess Cockrell McCarron Henderson Big OL Edited September 29, 2014 by jboyst62
Johnny Hammersticks Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Zach Martin is one hell of a guard.
