Kirby Jackson Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) Dorkington got me thinking in another thread about how our team stacks up vs. the rest of the league. I posted my thoughts over there but thought that it made for a really interesting topic. There is no rhyme or reason to the numbers but let's try to keep the tiers structured this way for consistency sake. I am including coaching in this example (I didn't over there). Anyways I wanted to know how you guys see the Bills position groups (not individual players and OL & DL aren't broken out by position) stack up vs. the rest of the league? Tiers (out of 32 teams): Elite - 1-5 (DL) Good - 5-8 (ST) Fine - 8-12 (RB, S, WR) Average - 12 - 20 (OL, CB) Below average - 20-25 (coaching, LBs w/o Kiko) Bad - 25-30 (QB) Sucks - 30-32 (TE) Edited September 26, 2014 by Kirby Jackson
Johnny Hammersticks Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Tiers (out of 32 teams): Elite - 1-5 (DL, RB, ST) I think all these units are "elite" when stacked up against the rest of the league. Good - 5-8 (WR) Fine - 8-12 Average - 12 - 20 (OL, CB, Coaching, LB) Interior OL play makes this unit very average. Below average - 20-25 (QB) This is my QB evaluation based upon what I've seen, although I think he will be more in the 12-20 range before the end of the season. Bad - 25-30 (TE) If I were just evaluating Chandler, I would put TE in the "average" tier. The depth her is terrible though. Sucks - 30-32
