buffaloboyinATL Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 At least we don't have to face another elite pass rusher this week... Oh, wait.
Big C Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Seems like an overstatement. Yeah, he beat Glenn like twice?
White Linen Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I think it was Buscaglia said we don't get rushed on the outside it all comes from up the middle. I don't know personally but he said that after watching the all 22.
Nanker Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 http://mmqb.si.com/2...ney-film-study/ Never heard of him.
Bills Fan of St Augustine Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Down game for Glenn is still much superior compared to the rest of the OL.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I expected a Chinese buffet joke here...
zazie Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Freeney has been at the top of his game for many years and obviously puts the time and effort into preparation for the specific opponent he is facing week to week. Some guys are just going to get production, nature of the beast. I would take Cordy overt almost any LT in the game at this point, he has youth and skill. we are lucky to have him. Seantrel looks to be our 2nd best line-man by a wide margin already. the bookends are in place. now if we could just shore up the middle....
NoSaint Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 I was much more interested in the breakdown of brown
dave mcbride Posted September 26, 2014 Author Posted September 26, 2014 Did I watch a different game than OP? Watch the All-22. It goes on at length about how Freeney beat Glenn consistently (and shows it). No sacks for Freeney, but tons of pressure. That's what the article is about. Glenn is a good player. He just faced a better one on Sunday. Freeney has made many, many good LTs look bad over the years. I think it was Buscaglia said we don't get rushed on the outside it all comes from up the middle. I don't know personally but he said that after watching the all 22. read the whole thing. http://www.wgr550.com/two-bills-drive/19966701
machine gun kelly Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 He'll be fine this week. The guy is one of the most talented LT in football in the last couple of years. I worry we make the typical dumb butt mistake and don't lock him up early after this year and state we wouldn't over pay, when we have a stud at LT.
Shamrock Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 He beat CG for a pressure on a ferocious spin, had CG spinning on his heels. The next play though I locked on those 2, CG had great control of Freeney. Will watch the game again, competition will make or break you, I liked that it didn't seem to unsettle CG though.

The reason I posted this wasn't to diss Glenn, but to pass along an interesting piece about one of the best pass rushers of the past 15 years.

Yes. That he is. Has 105 career sacks in those 15 years. That's a lot of 'sperience! Cordy got taken to school by a master. There's no shame in that as long as he learned from it.
