Fadingpain Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 I think Atlanta just scored on the bucs again LOL. Now that's funny.
IDBillzFan Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Things were so bad in DC tonight that Tim Graham tweeted that if Gruden doesn't bench Cousins next week, he'll go back to referring to Washington's team as the Redskins.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 26, 2014 Author Posted September 26, 2014 http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation Yes, quarterback Kirk Cousins was dreadful. He's now started two games, and this is what he's done: played one terrific half, hit a few timely throws in another and then was dreadful in the next two halves, both of which were played Thursday night. In six career starts, he's put up good numbers in three games and not-so-good numbers in the other three. He's a fourth-round pick who is either a young quarterback still developing or a guy who is what he is. Cousins needs to do a lot of things right to play well. When he doesn't, he can't rely on a cannon arm to avoid danger or his legs to bail him out. He knows that; the NFL world knows that. Cousins can't stare down receivers and get away with it, as the New York Giants, who entered the game feeling they could pressure him into mistakes, said he was doing. Cousins turns the ball over a lot (four interceptions and a lost fumble against the Giants) for a guy who is said to be someone who can manage games well. He gets rid of the ball fast; he also takes chances on throws, and if he's off, it's a pick. "On certain routes, he was staring down his targets," Giants safety Antrel Rolle said. No kidding.
HamSandwhich Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 I guess maybe Eli isn't quite washed up yet? Where's that "Would you trade EJ for Eli" thread?
prissythecat Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Where's that "Would you trade EJ for Eli" thread? I wouldn't be so quick to proclaim that Eli is back. Giants faced Fitzy and Cousins last two games . Both turned the ball over multiple times during their games . Moreover, Redskins D is pretty darn bad at this point . Giants are facing falcons , cowboys , eagles , colts, Seahawks , niners over coming weeks. Should be interesting to see how Giants record is after that stretch.

peterpan Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/170911-mea-culpa-on-chandler/#entry3254396 It seems there are more Gronks and Graham types out there than some fans would want to believe.

Bangarang Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Cousins was fun to watch last week so I'm hoping to see another exciting game from him. Well that was exciting.

I wasn't saying that I want the Bills to get Eli. I was just picking on the fact that this thread will eventually appear, laughably. Oh look, it has! lol
26CornerBlitz Posted September 27, 2014 Author Posted September 27, 2014 @ProFootballTalk Giants, Gruden agree: Kirk Cousins stares down his receivers http://wp.me/p14QSB-9Af2
K-9 Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 @ProFootballTalk Giants, Gruden agree: Kirk Cousins stares down his receivers http://wp.me/p14QSB-9Af2 Saw Teddy Bruschi break down one of his picks. The Giants were in a cover-3. Desean Jackson is split left and runs a double move route where Cousins does a hard pump fake on the first move and then tries to hit Jackson down field. Problem is, the pump fake DREW all the deep cover guys to the LEFT side of the field and towards where Cousins was trying to hit Jackson after the fake. He never should have tried that route against that coverage. I mean, you have to SEE that pre-snap and get into a better play. Not impressive at all. GO BILLS!!!
