Great. Good for him. He plays for the 49ers. Who cares? What kind of game did Boldin have? Who cares?

I care, I like Stevie. He was a Bill for many years and gave good service to the team especially considering he was a 7th round pick.

Boldin - don't care.

Why do you care??? He did his time and moved on to greener pastures through no fault of his own, oh wait you have an irrational hate for Stevie so carry on :wallbash:

Back in the day when SJ played for us, I didn't hate him. I hated the drops.

Stevie is an entertaining dude and I enjoyed much of his time here.

But some of his childish antics and critical errors ruined it for me. I'm glad he's gone. It was frustrating to watch him towards the end of his time here. So much talent, so little brain power.

Did they ever explain why they traded him?

I never understood it.

They essentially traded Stevie for a 4th round pick and used their 1st round pick of next year to trade up to replace Stevie.

I hated the move and still do. Stevie is a good receiver.

Reading between the lines is lack of chemistry between SJ & EJ. Stevie's patterns are fairly unorthodox, and that wasn't conducive to EJ's development.

Stevie is sort of a pain in the butt. They replaced Stevie with Mike Williams (which is a cheaper upgrade) and then added to the mix with a guy who is supposed to be a superstar (Watkins).
