rayray808
Getting the feeling that he won't resign here. So... let the trade options begin, granted the Trent Richardson deal may have spoiled the chances of getting a late 1st rounder. Teams who need a RB who are in a "win now mode": Carolina Panthers - they are down to a potential third string situation. I could see them willing to give up a draft pick for a back like Spiller to revamp their run game. San Diego Chargers - Ryan Matthews is complete glass and can't be relied on. Woodhead is out for the season. Spiller seems to be a blend of both of their styles. Houston Texans - if Foster is hurt, they may need to upgrade over Blue. Baltimore Ravens - They don't seem to be sold on Bernard Pierce, however the new rookie looks good. Teams who need a RB who are in "building mode": Minnesota Vikings - trade for AP straight up? I would. Oakland Raiders - MJD is gone, McFadden is on his way. A) Do you think the trade will happen? B) What scenario do you foresee?

boyst
If we were 0-3 I'd consider trading him. But, we're very much alive in a weak division that we are leading. Yes, I'd love to see him in Carolina. My God, that would be one hell of an offensive improvement if they could figure out how to use them. They're surprisingly decent this year. the streets you a bad mofo, the streets is for the greasers. Pony Boy and Soda Pop, yo, be fly.
Augie
Are CJ and his agent among the peeps on the streets? I want weapons on the Bills, and he's a dangerous player. (I just wish we had better blocking and used him more wisely).

Chandler#81
CJ won't bring a 1st. Ergo, STILL no QB next year either. IMO, EVERY player on our roster -or any combo of players & picks should be on the table for ANY semi-proven vet QB who can HIT our receiving weapons in stride. I'm personally convinced we're ready to seriously contend for the 1st time this century, but won't break the 6-10 funk with our current signal callers. I've watched Orton's career -very streaky, but Streaky is an improvement. Names? Eli, Cutler, Matty Ice, Palmer (Sr.), Locker.. Hell, Schawb, Tannehill, a CFL/IFL/Semi-pro who can -you know, throw accurately at times.. If player/picks are being considered as trade options @ OBD, it HAS to be for QB. LOVEMESOMEBILLS
the streets Great source, bet you get a lot of useful info there. Spiller likes it in Buffalo and wants to be part of the turnaround. Bills have already sat down with his new agent to talk long term contract. Does this mean he will definitely sign? No but it's a better indicator than your gut and the streets. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000392018/article/buffalo-bills-gm-cj-spillers-reps-talk-about-contract

mrags
All this talk is so nastalgic. Later tonight I'm gonna roast some marshmallows and song cum-bouiya. What did I tell everyone before the start of the season. And CJ hasn't disappointedly yet. Were still along excuses for him. Only week 3. Can't wait to see the excuses in week 8. Just because he had a return with superb blocking and one large run of 40+ doesn't make him good. He's consistently cost is first downs already this season. Be glad he's in your team. I'm not. Can't wait until he goes.

I think he's going to have a great season. keep wishing in one hand and crapping in the other. Good RBs in the NFL don't need to rely on a 40 yard run a get to get their average per game up to 60. Were giving excuses for him again. Now he's healthy but were blaming it on his line. QB play and OC. Always something with him. Good players don't need excuses they are just good no matter what and elevate everyone around them.

JEEZ, if I have to read this one more frickin time. Stop acting like simply having a 1st round pick = getting a franchise QB. How hard is it to understand? The stud SB winning 1st rounders are almost always selected with the highest picks. The Bills roster is far too good to be picking that high. I'm not giving him any excuses this year. He had a great game against Miami. You can't deny that. The o line sucked against SD. That can't be denied, either. Give him more than three games this season (one of which he was awesome) before you say he's dirt. His stats show that he's earned his money AND justified a #9 overall pick. The dude has been splitting carries since he got here. We can agree to disagree, but I believe this team is better because of Spiller.

But no me players get TDs on kick returns. All that matters is that you have good blocking and your fast. You can keep thinking whatever you want. He has hindered our offense so far this season. He's got 147 yards in 3 games. ZERO Touchdowns rushing the ball. Pretty sure that's what RBs are supposed to be for. Yards and TDs. He sucks at both.
