BringBackFergy Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Cutler was in the grasp...whistle blew while in grasp I think.
PolishDave Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Cutler is a whimp. What a friggin wuss....
26CornerBlitz Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 This game turned when Marshall left with injury. The Bears have gone back to being cubs.
Maury Ballstein Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 How did the Bills ever manage to beat the Jest last season? Was it divine intervention? Who was that terrible qb throwing bombs to Goodwin vs the jets last year ?
GG Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 EJ may be bad, but Geno is worse. Jury is still out which one is worse, but safe to say both aren't good. Just proves that 2013 was a bad QB year. Maybe that's something that can penetrate OBD braintrust. In a different draft year, these guys don't go before late 2nd early 3rd rounds. Would there be this much investment in these guys then?
YoloinOhio Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 If EJ does not learn how to Throw downfield, this Jet D will pummel us twice because we won't run on them. we did not run on them last year. EJ threw downfield on them.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I wouldn't say he threw downfield on them. He had two long passes for TD's and the rest was Geno Smith turning the ball over left and right.

Let's go Bears.
Maury Ballstein Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 So because of one play EJ's better then Geno? Got it. Wow the anti EJ crusade that consumes you is zapping your memory. Bills beat jets 37-14 EJ 28 completions 2 tds 250 yards. He only went deep to Goodwin once though you're right.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 he threw downfield for two TDs. So did he or did he not throw downfield? Manuel also threw another deep pass to Graham just prior to the deep pass for a TD to Goodwin. Funny how selective memory works to support a preconceived POV.

YoloinOhio Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 Ge-NO That's 3 red zone turnovers for Geno in 3 games. He fumbled on the 5 yd line against the Raiders.
Maury Ballstein Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Nice to see a cornerback play up to his draft pick. Kyle Fuller with 3 ints through 3 weeks now. Impressive.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Nice to see a cornerback play up to his draft pick. Kyle Fuller with 3 ints through 3 weeks now. Impressive. He was great against the 49ers last week. His excellent play continues with a FF and a pick thus far tonight. @ESPNNFL Since last season, Geno Smith is tied with Eli Manning for the most multi-interception games (8).
YoloinOhio Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 Nice to see a cornerback play up to his draft pick. Kyle Fuller with 3 ints through 3 weeks now. Impressive. he is light years better than Justin Gilbert at this point.
mannc Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 (edited) @ESPNNFL Since last season, Geno Smith is tied with Eli Manning for the most multi-interception games (8). Make fun of him all you want, but he does make a lot of plays. Decision making still leaves something to be desired but he has a lot of talent. Edited September 23, 2014 by mannc
Dan Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Watching this game... the primary differences I see between Geno and EJ are (1) Geno plays with more confidence and doesn't seem as afraid to take a hit and (2) he has more velocity on his throws. Granted, he's more reckless with the ball but the Jets always seem to be in the game despite his turnovers.
