Nick the Greek Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Geno's decision to hang onto the ball and take a sack is similar to EJ. Glad we aren't the only fans slamming our palms into our foreheads. Yea, Geno's sack made me think of EJ yesterday. However, Geno only lost like 10 yards, where EJ lost like 25. Oh well, rookie mistakes.
MattM Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Well seeing as how I need 7 pts to win my fantasy matchup this week and I have Alshon Jeffry (my opponent has no one else playing) !@#$ you Jay Cutler. Throw it to Alshon. I'm in the same boat (down by 7), except I've got Matt Forte. Here's to him rushing/receiving for at least 100 (or I'll take 2 TDs in a pinch)....
LB3 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Damn. I can't imagine trying to catch a Cutler fastball like the one he just threw to Marshall. I'd likely start crying and blowing on my hands and then ask him why he hates me.
BringBackFergy Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 A TE like Bennett.....Yusss! He is a rising star like Cameron in Cleveland.
YoloinOhio Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 Who will be the first NFL coach to figure out to just throw it deep every down and hope for the flag.
Nick the Greek Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 A TE like Bennett.....Yusss! I got him on my team too. I'm down by so much though it probably wont matter. Darn it!
26CornerBlitz Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 He is a rising star like Cameron in Cleveland. Yep. You could see how good of a player Bennett was going to be even when he played behind Witten in Dallas. I was hoping the Bills would get him as a UFA.
YoloinOhio Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 I'm already stressing about trying to run on the jests.
John in Jax Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Who will be the first NFL coach to figure out to just throw it deep every down and hope for the flag. The sad thing is that you're not even joking. IT COULD WORK. Just make sure that the QB underthrows the ball a bit, so that the receiver (who 99 times out of a 100 is running behind the DB/Safety) has to come back for the ball, and "go through" the defender to get the ball. That gets defensive PI called every time...every time.
BringBackFergy Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I've been saying that the last few weeks...throw the ball downfield and hope for a flag. Not a great strategy but it worked a few times.
Awwufelloff Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 EJ may be bad, but Geno is worse. Cousins was the guy I wanted along with WIlson. Those two will be studs. =(
BringBackFergy Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Damn. I wanted a bloodbath. Friggin Jets
YoloinOhio Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 I've been saying that the last few weeks...throw the ball downfield and hope for a flag. Not a great strategy but it worked a few times. worked at least once yesterday if I recall, with Goodwin
jumbalaya Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Geno's decision to hang onto the ball and take a sack is similar to EJ. Glad we aren't the only fans slamming our palms into our foreheads. Geno looks twice the QB that EJ is. He is not afraid to throw downfield, he throws to his WRs, he seems to have a much better grasp of the action on the field, he is more elusive and has a better feel in the pocket. I am sure Geno will learn from his mistakes and continue to get better. EJ is afraid to make mistakes and afraid to play the game, and he is learning nothing. EJ looks worse than Trent Edwards to me.
devldog131 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 The greatest Monday Night Football in Jest history... http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/181482dmixiyijpg/original.jpg
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I got him on my team too. I'm down by so much though it probably wont matter. Darn it! I am playing him. I am leading by less than 1 point now. So, basically unless he is shut out the rest of the way, I am done.
BuffaloBaumer Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 If EJ does not learn how to Throw downfield, this Jet D will pummel us twice because we won't run on them.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 If EJ does not learn how to Throw downfield, this Jet D will pummel us twice because we won't run on them. How did the Bills ever manage to beat the Jest last season? Was it divine intervention?
