The Big Cat Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 Weighing in is too heavy? Matt Moore to the rescue?
BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I think you mean like seven years too late. He was an elite player for a lot of years before an inexplicable 2011-12 valley. I mean it got to the point where a lot of non-casual/smart people just assumed he was playing hurt, which he vehemently denied. Someone called me a lot of bad names for arguing on his behalf during that valley. Crickets now obviously. I wish archives were easier to find here. For sure, he's been very good for a long time but I'm talking about MVP hype. IMO Rivers should have been the MVP last year.
The Big Cat Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 I never understood the love for him. He is average in every sense of the word. I've never understood it either. But at this point, "average" is putting it nicely.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Oh come on man! Where else would you rather be than right here...right now?!
prissythecat Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Dating back to last year, his last five starts have netted 910 yds 5 TDs 5INT and a completion pct. of 52. That's 1821/1/gm He's had zero rushing TD's over that span, getting only 37 yards on the ground since week 16 of last year. Barbarian, care to way in? Well , at least I think Tannehill finally threw that 4th touchdown pass against us that Barbarian predicted he would 2 seasons ago

Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Didn't Zona beat SD who then beat Seattle? It's too early to tell due to injuries & how teams improve but I'm happy with where we are at. New England looks beatable. Miami we've stomped. And the Jets look tough at running & stopping the run. IMO the Jets have looked the best. It's all about match ups.
