Just Jack Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 6" max for the lens. I've had to keep mine off the camera for them to ignore it (Canon 300mm). Put it on the body, and it suddenly throws up red flags for some reason. Mine is 5.5" retracted, I measured it.

snydert317 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I got kicked out of that nasty Monday night game with the Browns a few years ago when a teen security staff told me my canon 300mm wasn't allowed and I refused to put it away. I confirmed it was ok at the gate coming in and on the website but that little **** didn't care.
