DrDawkinstein Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Just when I thought I couldnt like the kid any more... Go EJ! and GO TITAN!! Great to see our QB is a pitbull advocate and responsible owner!!
billsfan1959 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Awesome video. Just a genuinely nice kid.
Maury Ballstein Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Titan the pitbull > Tuel and Thad
infernus Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Fast as marquise? can he adjust to the ball in the air? I think i saw a drop with the tennis ball in the video
Stads Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I wasn't thrilled with the accuracy on some of his throws.
johnwalter Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 Fast as marquise? can he adjust to the ball in the air? I think i saw a drop with the tennis ball in the video right off the teeth. titan needs to spend some more time in the playbook.
folz Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Yes, that's EJ's house. A few months ago, flipping through the channels on the TV, I came across a "House Hunters" style show (probably on HGTV) and EJ was on it looking to buy a house in Buffalo (I think he rented last season). He had his parents with him and they saw three properties...a house in Orchard Park, a swank downtown apartment, and a townhouse or attached (row) house in Orchard Park, literally, almost next to the "Ralph". EJ said a number of times that the most important thing was being close to the stadium. But when they saw the swank downtown loft with high ceilings, exposed brick, lighting, decor...I mean it was the perfect bachelor pad, EJ and his mom were very impressed. They loved it. It seemed a no brainer. Yet EJ chose the attached house right near the stadium. It's nice...but just kind of an average looking house. I'm telling you, as if we didn't already know, this kid is all in. He's doing everything in his power to become the QB that we want him to be. His parents seemed really nice too and the kind of people that are making sure that EJ stays humble, makes the right decisions, works hard, etc. Good family.
MattM Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 As someone who just had to put down the canine love of his life, this made me smile (and shed a tear or two out of loss). Here's to EJ and Titan becoming Buffalo fixtures for years to come....
The Dean Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Very nice spot. Hard to not like the guy.
Saint Doug Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Just when I thought I couldnt like the kid any more... Go EJ! and GO TITAN!! Great to see our QB is a pitbull advocate and responsible owner!! This was an absolutely fantastic video. I've been critical of him before, but do to his advocacy of pitties, he goes up 100 notches in my book. This guy can do no wrong. Beautiful dog. I got 2 myself.
Just in Atlanta Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Great vid. What a humble house, and kid. Great dog too.
Peter Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 EJ is a great kid and has great parents. He is very, very easy to root for.
DirtDart Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 How can you not root for this guy? I have been saying it all a long, this is the year we become relevant again. There definitely is a different feel to this team.
Terrakon Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 This is easily the Best thread I have read on this wall in many months. Thank you!
ICanSleepWhenI'mDead Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I may be in the minority on this, but if it was up to me, I would let people keep their existing pit bulls but prevent any further breeding: http://www.dog-bite-law-center.com/pit_bull_attacks.html

Anyone can cherry pick horror stories. The simple fact is that dogs are a lot like people: The vast majority are good. Some are bad. And all are a product of their upbringing. Humans go around killing, raping, and abusing each other. Should we ban humans?
Ohiostyle Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Man I really want this kid to work out. Off the field, he's everything you want, and works hard on his craft. If it somehow doesn't work out, it won't be for lack of effort, or stupidity. Go EJ.
