Fadingpain Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 You have the perfect name for that press conference LOL. True enough.
CountryCletus Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Teddy Bruschi says Roger Goodell is not that man, he needs to step down right now
Fadingpain Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Roger was off his game today. he's rattled. having said that, he's not going anywhere. nor should he. Have you gone mad !??!?!?!
Kirby Jackson Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Roger was off his game today. he's rattled. having said that, he's not going anywhere. nor should he. Yeah, he's been a model of consistency since taking control. He is the only guy in the world capable of screwing up the NFL. The guy is a joke. Please don't talk about revenues either because it is directly related to the ratings at his level. The ratings are high now. My sister could have negotiated those TV deals.
Fadingpain Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Flip to ESPN2 this is getting good Thanks for the heads up. ESPN2 on now! What did you hear that made you post? I see ESPN is also commenting on this mess right now, live.
GunnerBill Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 He has to go he has cocked this up at every step.
CountryCletus Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Schefter and Bruschi were ripping Roger. New !@#$

No need to demean your sister by comparing her to this ass monkey.
CountryCletus Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Schlereth is too... Yeah, I jacked his name up
Fadingpain Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 He has to go he has cocked this up at every step. Great use of phrase "cocked up". I salute you sir.
Stads Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I'm surprised Roger didn't move one of the games to 4:30 today so he close out this debacle of a press conference with, " Let's get ready for some football!".
GG Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Where was the moral outrage for Tagliabue to resign when Ray Lewis killed two people and Carruth paid to have the mother of his child killed? Or is everyone outraged now that Harvey Levin unleashed his trolls onto the world? Is it hypocritical to have all those names on the Bills Wall of Fame?

You are so right, two wrongs definitely make a right. :wallbash:
GG Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 (edited) You are so right, two wrongs definitely make a right. :wallbash:  No, I'm trying to understand the bloodlust for Goodell's head now, when no one seemed to care about domestic violence in NFL until TMZ's video came out. And I'm sorry that I can't share in ESPN's indignation, considering that network's stellar job of hiring upstanding citizens. Edited September 19, 2014 by GG
boyst Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Btw- Benji was me.... Benji is from the Howard stern show. I'll send you some of his stuff later when I get a chace. He is great at press confermcees. Someone put up Benji bronk at Elliot spitzer
Best Player Available Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Painful cororate speak. What a D-bag. Carefull answers all the way, he knew what was coming and was coached up. Duh. But what else could one expect from an executive who pulls down 41 miilion per year for making crazy money for thirty two franchise owners?
papazoid Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 how about the commotion off to the left of roger during the presser. sounded like some guy was getting escorted out while repeatedly screamimg "don't take me on an elevator"......bizarre.
Kirby Jackson Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 No, I'm trying to understand the bloodlust for Goodell's head now, when no one seemed to care about domestic violence in NFL until TMZ's video came out. And I'm sorry that I can't share in ESPN's indignation, considering that network's stellar job of hiring upstanding citizens. I don't like that he is a hypocrite. "Ignorance is not an excuse." That is what he told Sean Payton as he suspended him for a year. Why didn't the NFL see the tape? Or did they? He is a hypocrite that nobody trusts. It's not just the league is out of control under his watch, he is like the 7 year old that lies to undo his last lie. The cover up is always worse than the crime.
Deranged Rhino Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 (edited) Where was the moral outrage for Tagliabue to resign when Ray Lewis killed two people and Carruth paid to have the mother of his child killed? Or is everyone outraged now that Harvey Levin unleashed his trolls onto the world? Is it hypocritical to have all those names on the Bills Wall of Fame? To be fair, there was plenty of outrage over both Ray Lewis and especially Carruth directed at Tags. A lot on here in fact. It just wasn't the age of social media, the rules have changed. As for the press conference, it was laughable. Edited September 19, 2014 by GreggyT
