LabattBlue Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 On TWC, I currently get the NFL Red Zone Channel(part of sports package). I am addicted to this channel, and this has nothing to do with fantasy football. 7 or so hours of football, commercial free. If the Bills are not on TV, this is what I watch on Sundays during football season. Even when the Bills are on, I find myself flipping to the RZ when there is an interruption in play. Kudos to the NFL for coming up with this concept(Not sure when it started. TWC picked it up two years ago when their dispute with the NFL Network has finally settled after numerous years).
eball Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Pick up the phone...2009 is calling for you.
GG Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Red Zone Channel is great, but for truly addicted ADHD NFL nuts, DirecTV's Game Mix channel is the bomb. Eight games on a screen, and you can toggle between them to get the sound of the game that you want.

Is it included with the Sunday ticket or is this something extra?
GG Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 How much does something like this cost? Is it included with the Sunday ticket or is this something extra? I don't know if it's part of the base Sunday Ticket or added in with Ticket Max. I've always had it, but always manage to get Max. Go to channel 702 and see if it's there on game day.
dhg Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 (edited) How much does something like this cost? Is it included with the Sunday ticket or is this something extra? On TWC it comes as part of an extra Sports Package. Pretty sure it's $8 a month. Edited September 18, 2014 by dhg

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Pick up the phone...2009 is calling for you. haha; nice. By the way, anyone watch this new "fantasy channel"? I haven't bothered to do so, and was wondering if it was better/worse/different/same than the RZC.
Webster Guy Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 I have the NFL ticket but I went to the red zone channel and they said it would be 50 bucks more if I wanted to watch it. ridiculous. i sent goodell an email and asked him why he makes $4m a month and said the greed is ruining the great american nfl.
bigK14094 Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Season ticket holders receive access to the NFL Red Zone as a benefit. Interestingly enough, being a season ticket holder, I signed up, and now have the capability on my phone. Of course, the phone doesn't work in the Ralph C Wilson stadium....so, this benefit amounts to zilch for those season ticket holders at the Bills games. (where else would they be?) While I am at it, should mention the other really lowtech situation surrounding the new stadium configuration/setup. Used to be (last year) a special fm radio broadcast in the stadium so that those attending could listen (to John Murphy) to the live real time broadcast . Now, the Bills changed radio broadcast stations.....55am is 10seconds delayed, and is received in the stadium....makes it useless really . No FM whatsoever......Bills have technology regression...back to the 60's!!!!

Buftex Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 I like the Red Zone Channel as a supplement to the one game I am watching...but man, maybe I am just getting old...I can't just sit in front of the tv and watch just the RZ Channel...gives me a headache... Something like that. $10 a month tops, including NHL Network, MLB Network, Golf Channel, and a dozen or so other channels I've never watched I am pretty sure, at least where I am (Austin, Tx) the TWC sports pack is 8.99 per month, and includes the Red Zone. I elected to cut it this year..but are you telling me that they added the NHL Network to ther sports pack? If so, I will have to re-consider..in the past, TWC has not offered the NHL Network at all, in any package that I am aware of...

Porn of football is an accurate characterization. But the ears on that guy!
papazoid Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 in 7 hours.....you can watch every single play from every single game played on sunday, with: NFL Rewind.
nucci Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 haha; nice. By the way, anyone watch this new "fantasy channel"? I haven't bothered to do so, and was wondering if it was better/worse/different/same than the RZC. Checked it out for a few minutes.....when they are not showing games it is the stereotypical hot chick with 4 guys like us talking fantasy football. Think of a well funded Waynes World. Haven't watched since
MikeSpeed Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 The game mix channel would be awesome if they would allow you to select the games to be displayed. There are times I only want to watch 2 games at a time. Just displaying those games would make the viewing much nicer.
