patfitz Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 I had a thought, I wondered if it was the other way around, would Ralph Wilson, who initially invested the $25K or $50K (whatever) to obtain the Bills francise, would ante in for $1.4B (or whatever) if he were in Pegula's shoes, even taking into account the time value of money? Seems unlikely to me. What say you?
Garion Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Yes. If it meant keeping the Bills in Buffalo and he was as rich as Pegula. I don't think he was mind you.
Nanker Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Gee. I wonder if Henry Ford were alive, would he buy his company today. Or, if there were a time machine, are there any people alive today that could have started the company if Ford were never born.
BreezeMafia Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Also take into account: Pegula's age + the wind fall of cash his companies have generated + the basic guaranteed return on his investment from TV contracts alone......... Basically, what else would he do with all that coin!
Best Player Available Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Another question might be. if the Anchor never invented Buffalo wings. And, they were invented in Detroit? Well, Detroit wings really doesn't have a good ring too it. Would they still have been called Buffalo wings? So many questions......
Just in Atlanta Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Now where did I put that flux capacitor?
mrags Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Now where did I put that flux capacitor? i don't know, but unless you can get enough plutonium to generate 1.21 gigawatts it doesn't mean a thing.

White Linen Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Would Pegula own the team if Ralph hadn't owned it first?
