PromoTheRobot Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Here's a bulletin for Mr. Football Guy: Bills have been behind all of 4 minutes and 43 seconds this season. So why air it out?
Captain Hindsight Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Here's a bulletin for Mr. Football Guy: Bills have been behind all of 4 minutes and 43 seconds this season. So why air it out? Exactly. He's a troll with a lot of twitter followers. Anyone who has watched EJ this year can tell you he is much better than last year. Not perfect, but very much improved I'm hoping EJ just keeps track of these people he needs to prove wrong. He's definitely capable of being a good QB in this league
John from Riverside Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Hi Matt! I was thinking the same thing......what a horses ass!
machine gun kelly Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Is Mark Miller no longer with us? He had and aneurism after that rant. We're going to kiss that guy. Ok, just kidding. Miss that guy. I hate auto correct on an I-Pad. Here's a bulletin for Mr. Football Guy: Bills have been behind all of 4 minutes and 43 seconds this season. So why air it out? Excellent point PTR. I guess that means we've had the lead for 115 minutes and 17 seconds. Interesting.
eball Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Even when he is complimenting the Bills he has to take a shot at EJ; here are his power rankings this week: Last Week: 24 This Week: 14 Change: +10 Raise your hand if you had the Buffalo Bills in first place in the AFC East after two weeks? I sure as heck didn't. The Bills are a young, fast, exciting team, and that's showing on Sundays. In Week 2, the Bills hosted Miami and beat up an offensive line that excelled against New England in Week 1 and knocked two running backs (Knowshon Moreno and Lamar Miller) out of the game. Are the Bills for real? It still feels like this team's record is better than the whole of its parts, but you can't argue with a 2-0 start. There's definitely an exciting element to the run game, the receivers and the pass rush. If EJ Manuel can be average, the Bills can win ball games.

And I guess he thinks the Bills have no chance to beat SD, as he has them ranked in the top half of the league, because... EJ.
John from Riverside Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Im enjoying being the underdog.....the tears of haters are soo sweet to my tongue
HOUSE Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 The problem is simple guys Those who bash the Bills without any real facts HATE the Bills when they are wrong Its not rocket scientist stuff here
GG Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 If EJ Manuel can be average, the Bills can win ball games. Isn't this exactly what most people here are saying?
YoloinOhio Posted September 17, 2014 Author Posted September 17, 2014 Isn't this exactly what most people here are saying? but yet they have no chance to beat SD. So apparently he is not.
BADOLBILZ Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 (edited) @nfldraftscout: EJ Manuel has 2nd fewest pass attempts over 20 yards among starting NFL QBs. Defenses will adjust to this, likely this week. Part of the maturation of EJ is going to be proving that he can't be negated by a simple defensive adjustment. I felt crowding his receivers short and forcing him to go over the top would be the likely adjustment as well this year but so far he's been given some space by defenses and he has also pushed the ball downfield much better than last year. He was downright lousy on deep throws last year but he nearly had a spectacular long TD pass to Watkins early in that game. The Bills have given him good personnel to combat that potential defensive strategy to expose what appears to be a weakness. You gotta respect Goodwin's long speed and Williams has a large catch radius and Sammy is just too dangerous to overplay. Edited September 17, 2014 by BADOLBEELZ

To be fair, and I hate feeling like I'm sticking up for this troll, isn't this what all Bills fans have been saying for two years?
PromoTheRobot Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 (edited) Excellent point PTR. I guess that means we've had the lead for 115 minutes and 17 seconds. Interesting. Lead or tied. Also don't forget OT in Chicago. The point is you don't have to throw long as much if you are protecting a lead. Basic football. Edited September 17, 2014 by PromoTheRobot

He has repeatedly stated he is the worst QB in the league. Good. They all said we wouldn't beat the Bears either. I hope they pick against us every week.
ndirish1978 Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 I don't really have an issue with the substance of what he's saying. Problem is he's a bit of a douche, so I just don't like him as a person. Similarly, I used to like Tim Graham, til he decided to adopt this tough guy act on twitter.

I also think that pass protection has come into play here........both the bears and the fins have a pretty darn good pass rush.....and Doug Whaley has been able to find bookend OT's.......the guard play has been ok and hopefully will improve EJ doesnt do well when he has people in his face....so far defenses have not been able to get there
Lurker Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Antagonists going after the low-hanging fruit will always have a high volume of followers. It's provided food for the lazy by the lazy. Ignore him and he goes away. Yep, it's the Golden Rule of the Interweb...
RuntheDamnBall Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 my neighbor joe miller hates the bills too. My friend mark miller, however, loved the bills. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwCiQASnw6o This video will warm my heart forever.
IDBillzFan Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 ...but he nearly had a spectacular long TD pass to Watkins early in that game. If Watkins makes that catch, and you couple it with the amazing throw/catch to Chandler, only a few homers would be critical of EJ today. The Sammy throw was just terrifically defended or it's six. And I'm not a big fan of "If you just change this/that, then the game ends differently," because that's not what I'm really saying. But that was a damn good throw.
