Captain Caveman Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 A real nerd poster would have the ships sized on a logarithmic scale. (To fit the YT-1300, the 03, etc.) Any real nerd can mentally compensate for factors of e. Yeah, I would have liked to have seen Rama on here.
Dorkington Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 I knew someone would post that. That source is wrong. My source is the blueprints. (This is not even the most useless bit of knowledge I've used today.)

Jon in Pasadena Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 A real nerd knows e = c = h = 1. Yes, but when you go to Kinko's and tell them you'd like your poster printed on paper size 3.77e34 x 6.29e34 they will shoot you. Not very practical.
Saxum Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Yes, but when you go to Kinko's and tell them you'd like your poster printed on paper size 3.77e34 x 6.29e34 they will shoot you. Not very practical. So why is there repeated articles on NFL violence and NOT articles on the bodily harm done by Kinko's employees Einstein?
DC Tom Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 So why is there repeated articles on NFL violence and NOT articles on the bodily harm done by Kinko's employees Einstein? Because everyone expects NFL players to be peaceful, whereas Kinkos violence surprises no one the printing and copying industry is so inherently violent?
swnybillsfan Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 (edited) i feel left out. my area of ex-nerd-tise is more comic book characters. while i do love me some sci-fi, i am just not qualified to make an argument in regards to the legitimate specks of serenity. though i do have to say that i am STILL pissed about the premature cancellation! Premature Cancellation is a great band name.
BringBackFergy Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 ... Premature Cancellation is a great band name. Premature Emancipation would be ok as well.
Deranged Rhino Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Can you be a nerd and be bad at math? Because I don't know how to label myself...
swnybillsfan Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Premature Emancipation would be ok as well. how 'bout premature emasculation?
