YoloinOhio Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 My head says Rivers wins this game with his arm, in a close contest. My heart says I think we can find a way at the Ralph. HUGE game. Bills 20, SD 19
Wayne Cubed Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I'm thinking the Bills defense steps up again. They were able to contain a very high powered Chicago Bears offense to 20 points. Bills 24 Chargers 14
Dorkington Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 If we were on the road, or in a neutral environment, I see the Chargers having their way with us. BUT, at the Ralph, this team has been pretty good. Hopefully the crowd shows up with loads of noise and excitement, and we can squeeze one out. 24-23 - Bills win.
Snorom Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 we will destroy San Diego. We will pressure Rivers all day and he will make mistakes. Our offense will capitalize on short fields again. They have no rushing game..... and will depend on he passing game...
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) Chargers @ Bills An important game the Bills need. fandom or reality Buffalo 23 Bolts 20 for the season I'm 2-0 picking the Bills and 5-1 picking the AFCE Oakland @ Putz ---------- Oak 12 Putrids 31 KC @ Fins UPSET special ---------- KC 27 Mia 26 Chicago @ NYETS [MNF] ---------- Da Bears 27 NYETS 18 Edited September 16, 2014 by BillsFan-4-Ever
Rocky Landing Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Here's something that gives me pause: Most of the casinos in Vegas currently have the Bills favored by 2 points. Of course, such odds are largely (although not entirely, as some contend) based on parity. That this number has gradually climbed from where it opened Sunday night at an even pick I believe is entirely based on parity. It isn't taking long for people to jump on the bandwagon. Why is it that I hate it when we are favored? Why am I more comfortable when we enter the game as an underdog?
TPS Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I like the match up at the Ralph. The weaknesses of the Chargers plays to our strength. They have not stopped the run well, and they have not run well. The D will play a similar style to the Bears game, bend but don't break. The obvious key is to prevent Gates from scoring in the red zone. On D, either KW or MD will have a big day--whoever they choose to leave 1 on 1. On O, Spiller needs to have a big day. Bills 27-20
It's in My Blood Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I like the Bills 28-21 Bills end it with a late 4 qtr TD pass to Mike Williams.
BigBuff423 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 what I like the most, is that the BILLS are not automatically denied a hope for a Win...I can't pick this game, too much in my mind to do so...I truly do believe the BILLS can win this game, as they've shown some really good football overall, but San Diego is a dangerous team and played against Seattle in a short week, which makes a resounding statement.
jr1 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Antonio Gates gets swallowed in a sinkhole and the Bills win 24-7
PromoTheRobot Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Toughest opponent we faced yet. But we're home and SD traveled a long way. A close Bills win.
Max997 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 the game being in Buffalo is huge Bills 23 Chargers 17
filthymcnasty08 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 They will move the ball on us early and we will counter.... Our D tightens and our running game wears them down Turnovers hurt them 23-17 Bills
Coach Tuesday Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Rivers is a lot like Brady in that he's a fierce competitor, he knows his offense like the back of his hand, and he's able to do a lot with a little. The Chargers' passing offense has evolved to attack the middle of the field with their tight ends and Woodhead out of the backfield - the Bills' linebackers will have to be ready. Spikes will likely see fewer snaps again this week as we sell out to defend the passing game, especially now that Matthews is out. Also, the Chargers pass a lot on first down - they had a very high number of 10+ yard plays on first down against the Seahawks. This game will be tough.
