YoloinOhio Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 15th on SB Nation as well. Chiefs 10th. http://www.sbnation.com/2014/11/4/7151967/power-rankings-week-10
TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 NFL.com has us 14th: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000422833/article/nfl-power-rankings-week-10-new-england-patriots-claim-no-1
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I am surprised that they actually rose w/the bye week. up 1 or 2 spots
TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 After we whoop on the Dolphins for the 4th straight time I'm sure they'll still be ranked 1 ahead of us.
TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 ESPN has us dropping 2 spots to 18th with this commentary. Totally makes sense.... Here are the quarterbacks with more touchdowns per game than Kyle Orton: Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck, Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger and Aaron Rodgers. That's it.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 this is not a ding on KO, just a statement that's a nice thing to show, but in reality they throw 4, 5 and 6 TD's in [multiple] games. Throw out the highest and lowest by KO and you will see that KO averaged 2 TD's per game. Do not let the Jets 4 TD game fool you
Dorkington Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 (edited) Yes, take away 50% of Kyle's stats to make a point, while not taking away the same from the other players. Do you sit and sharpen your pitchfork at all times? Tom Brady's first 8 games this season - 18 TDs Take away best two games - 9 TDs Take away worst two games - 2 TDs End up with 7 TDs over 4 games - averaging less than 2 TDs per game. Tom Brady sucks. If Kyle Orton's name was Tom Brady, he'd be Tom Brady.
Dorkington Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Not saying he is Tom Brady, just saying that the old "outlier" method doesn't work with this limited of a data set.
The Big Cat Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Not saying he is Tom Brady, just saying that the old "outlier" method doesn't work with this limited of a data set. I know. I was about to post the same response to him. Instead I responded was something equally preposterous to what he suggested.
BuffaninATL Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I saw this on Comcast sports with an interesting comment about our Bills: I like it http://xfinity.comcast.net/slideshow/sports-nfl2014week9/15/ 19. Buffalo Bills (5-3, Last Week: 17) Kyle Orton is leading a contending team halfway through the 2014 season, just like nobody on Earth predicted. The Bills enjoyed a bye this week, putting them one week closer to the return of Fred Jackson with a second-half schedule that includes several winnable games. I'm not sure they'll catch the Patriots, but this team is strangely for real
26CornerBlitz Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 CBS Sports: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/powerrankings Bills at #14
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 (edited) End up with 7 TDs over 4 games - averaging less than 2 TDs per game. Tom Brady sucks. during the first 2 or 3 weeks of the season. Yes he did. He lost 2 of 4 games. Orton is not Brady because the threw 4 TD's against a lousy team Edited November 5, 2014 by BillsFan-4-Ever
boyst Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Chiefs move up, we move down. Browns move way up. Right now its all moot but this is funny.... Elliot Harrison @HarrisonNFL Given the way this season has gone...next week the Steelers win 50-10, Roethlisberger throws for 800 yards Gene Rocha @Autismdad1Follow @HarrisonNFL He is playing the #Titans so not sure the boys from Nashville will be able to put up 10pts. #frustratedfan
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 (edited) a sound 2nd half whooping of the Browns and ESPN bumps them 1 spot. #17 http://espn.go.com/n...ar/2014/week/14 NFL.com up 3 to 15 CBS and Prisco Bills trasher up 1 to 17 followed by Browns The quarterback decision is coming, and it should be Johnny Manziel. He's the future. This team isn't a playoff team now. http://www.cbssports...l/powerrankings sports illustrated not up yet How does Miami jump up 2 when they barely won against the NYETS? The Real Buffalo Joe Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 We still have to play the top three teams on ESPN.
