TallskiWallski83 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) CBS 11 Houston reports Adrian Peterson is being investigated for another child abuse accusation involving one of his other sons. According to the news station, one of Peterson's four-year-old son's was disciplined by Peterson for cursing at one of his siblings. The boy sustained a scar over his right eye. Peterson has at least five children with multiple different women, and is believed to have as many as seven kids out of wedlock. If more information comes to light, the Vikings could discipline Peterson yet again. per rotoworld.com The four-year-old is by a different mother than the alleged victim in the Montgomery County case, in which Peterson is charged with felony injury to a child. In that case,Peterson admits to repeatedly striking the boy with a tree branch or "switch," but has maintained he did not intend to harm the child, and was using his judgment as a parent to discipline his son. The latest incident allegedly occurred last June, while the boy, who lives out of state, was visiting Peterson at his gated home in The Woodlands. A photo, allegedly texted by Peterson to the boy's mother, shows a head wound to the boy covered by two bandages. Other photos, allegedly taken weeks later, reveal a scar over his right eye. The text messages also describe an exchange about what happened. They contain numerous misspellings and shorthand: Mother: "What happened to his head?" ]Peterson: "Hit his head on the Carseat." Mother: "How does that happen, he got a whoopin in the car." Peterson: "Yep." Mother: "Why?" Peterson: "I felt so bad. But he did it his self." The text messages go on to show Peterson saying he was disciplining his son for cussing to a sibling.} Continued at: http://www.khou.com/...r-old/15693941/ Edited September 16, 2014 by TallskiWallski83
KD in CA Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Gee, what a shock. I assumed he treated all his other kids with love and respect.
It's in My Blood Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Yea... I'd say its very likely he's done for the year, perhaps he's done in the NFL altogether.
mitchmurraydowntown Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 From Daddy Peterson with love, crack.
CountryCletus Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 You know you are his favorite kid if you don't have any scars
Rob's House Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 The indictment just came down on Friday. You don't get from arrest to conviction in a weekend. No, but you get TV reporters, sports writers, and other pompous !@#$s screaming for official league sanctions by then. In all fairness, sitting around rooting for Roger Goodell's downfall is much more fun than caring about the welfare of children. You got me there.
CSBill Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 In all fairness, sitting around rooting for Roger Goodell's downfall is much more fun than caring about the welfare of children. Yuuup, that perspective right there is what has been the most frustrating thing in all this …. people going after Goodell and somehow making him the villain do nothing but district from the real issue: women and children are being abused. And not by Roger Goodell; rather, the thugs we cheer for. They are the ones who should be feeling the wrath, not Roger Goodell.
Fadingpain Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Five children with multiple wives and as many as seven more out of wedlock. And he has a taste for beating up children. What a fine young man.
CountryCletus Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Five children with multiple wives and as many as seven more out of wedlock. And he has a taste for beating up children. What a fine young man. All that money and can't get his balls cut... If you want to have that type of fun, cut your junk- save some cash
FireChan Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 He's not being investigated. this topic is inaccurate, and therefore, effective.
stuvian Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 You had to know things were screwy when one of his exes boyfriends murdered one of his kids
TSOL Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Idiocracy indeed. Electrolytes, its what plants crave Seriously, this is our world. Talking about these guys as role models. Closing schools and laying off teachers, but hey, lets build a billion dollar stadium

keepthefaith Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 What do the number of children and his marital status have to do with the propensity for child abuse? Nothing but it furthers premise that he's an irresponsible father.
LOVEMESOMEBILLS Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Nothing but it furthers premise that he's an irresponsible father. I would go with irresponsible person.
Numark3 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 He is not being investigated for additional child abuse incidents
Spiderweb Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 AP is another phenomenally talented athlete who has a brain the size of a small marble. Nice to see him chasing Travis Henry's gold standard of fatherhood though.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Wrong. The incident is from June of 2013 and was investigated with no charges filed. Case closed just as this thread should be.
MichFan Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Nice guy. Drops in to see each of his kids a few times a year. Punishes them old school when they misbehave (perhaps they have behavior issues because they don't have a Dad around?). Then throws his Father under the bus to justify his actions.
