Dibs Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I think OP meant to refer to this one: http://espn.go.com/b...lls-in-red-zone I still do not find it overall inflammatory. It's not overly inflammatory at all.....but considering the myriad of positives that one could mention at this point, after 2 good wins he chose to highlight only negative things. IMO this is your standard modern day professional trolling by the media to generate views.
Dorkington Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I think OP meant to refer to this one: http://espn.go.com/b...lls-in-red-zone I still do not find it overall inflammatory. "A weekly look at what the Bills must fix:" It's a weekly series on the blogs, for what it's worth. It's not Rodak picking on the Bills... this time. Dolphins: http://espn.go.com/blog/miami-dolphins/post/_/id/9999/quick-fix-dolphins-running-backs Patriots: http://espn.go.com/blog/new-england-patriots/post/_/id/4768233/the-film-dont-lie-patriots Jets: http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york-jets/post/_/id/43157/quick-fix-jets-pass-defense
Cynical Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 It's not overly inflammatory at all.....but considering the myriad of positives that one could mention at this point, after 2 good wins he chose to highlight only negative things. IMO this is your standard modern day professional trolling by the media to generate views. As Dorkington has pointed out, this is done for every team. Here's the one for the Panthers, who are also 2-0: http://espn.go.com/blog/carolina-panthers/post/_/id/8762/the-film-dont-lie-panthers The whole concept of each of these is "A weekly look at what the <insert team name> must fix:" Guess what? They are going to be negative, regardless of how the team has performed to that point. I am not trying to defend Rodak, but this is a clear case of a blurb being taken out of context.

Ah, I missed that bit. I humbly stand corrected.
Kgun5 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 He certainly wasn't effusive with his praise of the Bills during the he did about them during Sportscenter. He talked about how being 2-0 was all about defense and special teams, and made sure to remind everyone about the last three times we started 2-0. Still...He did say that our front four is probably the best in the league, so it could be worse.
NCDAWG Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Not to mention he is a Patriots homer who used to cover them.
Best Player Available Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Ripping on E.J. and Bills red zone woes. No talk of our defense ,crowd or Sammy and Spiller . Only the bad. What a dooshbag. Tell us something new. We won ,good enough for me. LETS GO BUFFALOOOOOO Rodak predicts NO letdown from the Bills this week. And predicts a Bills win. Typical Rodak.
boyst Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Rodak predicts NO letdown from the Bills this week. And predicts a Bills win. Typical Rodak. http://espn.go.com/nfl/picksESPN doesn't fully agree. Hoge, Joyner, Tom Jackson, Key Johnson, Cris Carter pick Bills. Allen, Golic, Jaws, Mort, Schefter, Schlereth, Wickersham, Ditka and Pick'em choose SD.

And why he isn't exactly my favorite source or either is ESPN for Bills news. Shirley, after the team winning a couple of fairly big games even their biggest skeptics will come around. The Chargers were a playoff team last year beat the superbowl champs this year so it's not going to go Bills across the pick-em boards.

Him not picking the Bills after all this feel good story would have us fans wanting his hide. He is doing so only to appease the fans or just say something. I promise you if you spoke to the douchebag you'd find he knows nothing about this matchup and can only talk superficially about the matchup.

Rodak is a world class blogger compared to his AFCE predecessor James "the plagiarizer" Walker. I sadly take that as a very small step forward.
