"I know a lot of ppl around the league are talking about it" Update: Raiders fire coach Dennis Allen after 2-plus seasons Edited September 30, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz
YoloinOhio Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 He had a better run than Lane Kiffin...
Big C Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 He inherited a terrible team. But between him and the FO, they had some questionable drafts too.
Captain Hindsight Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Reggie Mckenzie should be first. That roster has somehow gotten less talented since he showed up. Simply atrocious handling of the QB position. People here were mad at Fitz being given a contract? Mckenzie traded away Palmer (a ten win starter last year) and picked up Matt Flynn for a 6th round pick and drafted Tyler Wilson in the 4th round only to cut both of them before week 6 last season and start Matt McGloin most of the year who is a poor mans Fitzpatrick on his best day. Then to stabilize the position he traded for Matt Schaub, who anyone who watched a game last year could tell you his arm is dead, and gave him a nice payday too to back up Derek Carr. Carr has looked like a poor starter for a team with no talent Dennis Alllen walked into an impossible situation with an unstable roster and salary cap hell and his GM has been equally awful
17 Josh Allen Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Thats what they get for letting Hugh Jackson go. Jackson totally turned the raiders around a couple of years ago and had them playing inspired ball. They let him go and he is the now the offensive coordinator for the Bengles.
KollegeStudnet Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I went to the Raiders vs. Texans game yesterday... My only observation of walking around was like Mos Eisley Spaceport
Rob's House Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 You need to keep hiring a new HC every year until you find one who wins.
Tyrod's Tailor Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Raiders have the oldest roster in the league and yet are rebuilding. Nice combination.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 I went to the Raiders vs. Texans game yesterday... My only observation of walking around was like Mos Eisley Spaceport How did Mack look?
3rdand12 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 You need to keep hiring a new HC every year until you find one who wins. It's a Fact. My son was saying today , they need to fire the coach for playcalling. Poor kid. I can't imagine what it must be like for Raiders fans I am bringing him into the fold , he does not know it yet. He has been over here to watch the Bears and Dolphins game now and i caught him cheering. If i could just reel him in with a W over the Chargers...
truth on hold Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 (edited) How about Mack? Im glad we didnt draft him, I like that he gave buffalo some attention, but candidly I had serious concerns about his game at the pro level Edited September 15, 2014 by Joe_the_6_pack
Best Player Available Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 maybe they could do us all a huge favor and bring chucky back!! I dare that loudmouth to attempt a ground up rebuild either as a head coach or GM.

"I know a lot of ppl around the league are talking about it" Raiders are bad news bears You need to keep hiring a new HC every year until you find one who wins.
mannc Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 maybe they could do us all a huge favor and bring chucky back!! I dare that loudmouth to attempt a ground up rebuild either as a head coach or GM. Nothing would make me happier. It would guarantee another 5-7 years of Raider irrelevancy, and at the same time relieve us from having to endure Gruden's insufferable nonsense on ESPN.
ALF Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Throw in a old stadium with threat to move keeps Roger busy also.
thewildrabbit Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 How did Mack look? freaking awesome, and looking to be the cornerstone of their defense for a long while. The Raiders are starting a rookie QB so the FO knows they will endure some growing pains this year. I highly doubt they fire the HC.
PromoTheRobot Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 The Raiders are still a mess! @evansilva Mort said on ESPN there is already talk of #Raiders HC Dennis Allen losing job. "I know a lot of ppl around the league are talking about it" That usually means some reporter brought the idea up over beers after a game. How many "coaches on the hot seat" stories have we seen this year already? Yawn. maybe they could do us all a huge favor and bring chucky back!! I dare that loudmouth to attempt a ground up rebuild either as a head coach or GM. Gruden knows better than to get back into coaching. You get fat and lazy doing TV. He's not some genius biding his time till he returns. He makes good money now for a tenth of the work and none of the pressure.
taterthegator Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Dysfunction Junction, what's your function? Findin' ways to lose and wasting the draft picks...
Cynical Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Just think, after they do find that HC, they can trade some of the others for assistant coaches.
