Augie Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Watched the game with a buddy in town who's not a Bills fan (he has so much to learn...). He kept going on and on about the defense. The D-line is obviously studs, but without a deep corps of LB behind it won't be the same. We essentially played a couple games without two starting LB's and looked petty darn good. I credit Schwartz and some great players, but is sure do hope Whaley isn't forgotten in all the praise. When was the last time we had this kind of talent and depth in all three phases? I am very encouraged. It's not time to panic if we don't go 19-0, this team is going in the right direction. I initially believed in Marrone, then wavered after the ugly preseason and some questionable decisions, but I'm hoping he's just an old school tough guy and can get it done. If not, the future is still bright.
YoloinOhio Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Bingo. The Schwartz is definitely suprpassing expectations at this point. I'm looking at Gilmore though, and wondering what he was doing in the offseason. Not impressed with Stephon at all these days.
