Crossman still sucks right?

I assume that Crossman is the guy who decides who is on what team, although I'm sure that Marrone has to okay it. But putting Woods on the KO team, when he is an offensive guy who never tackles, and he makes that hit, plus Spikes on the KR team, when he never blocks but he made a great one to spring CJ on the TD, and Boobie on the line on the PR team who blocks the punt, is some good coaching. (Of course, Easley is our best ST tackle guy and he is a WR).

From the kicker, kick-off specialist, punter and coverage teams its the two best games from the ST I have seen since the early 90's.

That said have you ever analyzed his entire body of work before making this thread?

No I haven't because I don't think a special teams coach matters one bit. It is all the players. Bobby April and the Raiders were 31st in special teams last year. The coach doesn't matter.

So you are uninformed then about Crossmans body of work as a ST coach.

If a starter such as Woods or Spiller ever got hurt playing special teams, the pitchfork, tar and feathers would be out in force waiting for Crossman...and Marrone.

You're probably right but it shouldn't be an issue. Starters play on special teams all around the league. Check out the Seahawks.

Very impressed with Crossman & the STs so far. I hope it continues & I will gladly eat a big plate of crowe.

Ditto. But lets keep context here. It's 2 elite games vs. seasons of some of the worst special teams in NFL history. Let's all hope this can continue through 16 games.

this is about where i fall. im glad the units doing well though. like ive said most of the offseason - i had high expectations for this set of personnel. im curious to see where they head once we get in some rough patches with a few injuries and how his ability to prep the second tier guys comes together. its a spot that hes struggled with pretty badly before.
