Beebes Bubble Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11511941/buffalo-bills-keith-rivers-miss-hurt-groin I think it may have been mentioned in the Preston Brown thread, but I think a starter being out is worthy of it's own.
Bocephuz Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 That sucks.. I thought he looked pretty good in the Bears game
mikef272002 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Honestly I don't see it as a huge loss, he had 4 tackles last week. I assume the linebackers will be Spikes, Bradham and Brown, with Brown coming off in Nickle packages. I actually prefer this.
YoloinOhio Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 He did look good. Let's hope it is only 2 and Schwartz can make up for it with scheme and subpackages. He started at WLB in place of Bradham who is back. I like Bradham with his coverage skills. Hopefully brown is decent enough on the strong side. Mark Vader Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 This will give Preston Brown more of a chance to learn the game. It'll be great to have Bradham back. I hope that Rivers will be 100% after 2 weeks.
John from Riverside Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I think we will be fine. Im sorry but to me it stands to reason that if our defense can hang with a powerhouse like Chicago's....on the road....and find a way to win We should be able to do this at home against a offense that doesnt have NEAR the firepower of Chicago's
YoloinOhio Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 That makes sense, yes. He could have prevented a TD outside the endzone... say there was no one in front of the guy if he caught it at the 20 and he walks in?
Big C Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Rivers has looked good up to this point. Preston is going to become a versatile LB with all the moving around he is doing.
