Realist Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 I would think an hour is long enough to eat AND walk the 2.5 miles. 221604[/snapback] Have to drive out to the park to do it.
BuckeyeBill Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 A little less than 30 minutes. Should be longer. Just enough time to scarf down my food, read some TBD and go to the bathroom.
/dev/null Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 technically i get half an hour but i usually take an hour i have one of those type of jobs where i can say i'll be at a computer in another building for awhile without anyone thinking much of it longest i've taken is about 2 hours
BRH Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 Half an hour but I never time it and no one else seems to either. Got a cafeteria in the building so I usually just grab a sandwich and eat at my desk. Then when I do go out for lunch (like today) I don't feel guilty about taking an hour and a half (like today).
Robert Paulson Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 whatever i want. me and two others work at a satellite office in Wisconsin and all our bosses are in Chicago. we have very flexible hours as long as the work gets done. i end up bringing a lunch and eating at my desk anyways.
BILLS4LIFE Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 30 minutes. Usually go at 11:30,but on Fridays we go at 11,since we get out so early. (i.e. today,1:00).
TigerJ Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 I don't punch a time clock. I'm salaried. I might work 35 hours one week and 60 the next. I normally take an hour for lunch, but I also work several evenings and some weeks I don't get a day off.
