CountryCletus Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Precedence set!!! Let's go for a ride Sunday!!!
Nick the Greek Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 The civil suit is on the way via the person he fell on and injured.
CountryCletus Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 The civil suit is on the way via the person he fell on and injured. Then there is that.... Ok- no sliding Sunday... It's off....
SF Bills Fan Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 He is lucky his sentencing came during a feel good week. If Bon Jovi had purchased the team. he'd be going away.
fridge Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Then there is that.... Ok- no sliding Sunday... It's off.... Just make sure you don't slide onto people, maaannn.
FluffHead Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Even with his lifetime ban I bet he could get into the game if he wore one of those glasses/nose/mustache combo disguises
Mango Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 He is lucky his sentencing came during a feel good week. If Bon Jovi had purchased the team. he'd be going away. If Bon Jovi won the team he would be given season tickets to the new Toronto team
CountryCletus Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Even with his lifetime ban I bet he could get into the game if he wore one of those glasses/nose/mustache combo disguises Yeah... How exactly can they enforce his ban.... As long as he doesn't purchase tickets himself, directly from the ticket office.... If he were to get in and then busted, would that be trespassing?
gregmo Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Should have had at least one week in jail. Incarceration will make someone think before doing something stupid again.
djp14150 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Precedence set!!! Let's go for a ride Sunday!!! He also lost his job which likely factored into it. Working for a PR firm and pul this damages your career.
MDH Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Should have had at least one week in jail. Incarceration will make someone think before doing something stupid again. You don't think falling off the rail and injuring himself and another, losing his job, paying a fine and 100 hours of community service accomplishes that? Hell, I'm sure he still have a civil suit coming his way. The guy made a stupid mistake and paid (is paying) for it. How much more is really needed? 100 lashes in the town square?
NoSaint Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Should have had at least one week in jail. Incarceration will make someone think before doing something stupid again. In this case, I'm guessing his stupid hurt enough to learn a lesson.
Ted William's frozen head Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 You don't think falling off the rail and injuring himself and another, losing his job, paying a fine and 100 hours of community service accomplishes that? Hell, I'm sure he still have a civil suit coming his way. The guy made a stupid mistake and paid (is paying) for it. How much more is really needed? 100 lashes in the town square? Ask the guy who he 'landed' on how he feels about it.
KD in CA Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 In this case, I'm guessing his stupid hurt enough to learn a lesson. I agree. He certainly earned the public abuse he's taken, his ban from the Ralph and the civil lawsuit he'll lose, but I don't see prison accomplishing anything here.
Tyrod's Tailor Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Goodell should be fired. OK, that's funny.
Offside Number 76 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 He also lost his job which likely factored into it. Working for a PR firm and pul this damages your career. Yep. That's what will sober him up, literally and figuratively. Once the News published the name of his employer, it had no choice but to terminate him.
